First off there's no such thing as a cruise control for a truck that is standing still!! You either raise the RPMs or lower the RPMs by way of a control switch which also controls your cruise control!! The reason for this is to run an auxiliary power at a higher RPM such as some sort of a PTO. If you are trying to control the auto shut off mechanism there should be an override for this auto shutdown mechanism. You need to be clear with exactly what it is you want to do and how you want to do it not by calling it some generic cruise control mechanism.
