Latest model information on the area of interest that the National Hurricane Center is watching. It seems like we are likely to get Debby to form this weekend in the Gulf of Mexico. After that, a tropical storm or hurricane might hit the United States.

Weather models are based on mathematical equations that represent atmospheric mechanics and initial conditions (they take what’s currently going on in the atmosphere, and plug it in, and then go from there)
