Ice rinks are free in Montreal and everywhere . Unfortunately last year during covid everything was closed . There are big rinks in the Old port, one at the Quartier des spectacles , one the top of Mount Royal . As for Jean Talon Market , it is the biggest market in North america in the summer ... 2022 Xmas was a normal festive one , unfortunately you came in 2021. Thanks for your video

There are ice rinks all over Minnesota in the city parks....didnt realize it was anything unique for cold climate states.

"On to Ottawa." home of the Senators. Wouldn't it had been nice to squeeze a game in during your stay? All cross-border game have been postponed or essentially cancelled, while the Southern Border is WIDE OPEN?
No I never played there but sounds fun! Tickets in Canada are expensive!!!! Haha looks like some games in the states are getting postponed too now

@@MathersOnTheMap there is literally a place in Toronto called Beavertails. It is down by the waterfront. That is where we had them and they were great!

This may be a silly question but we never done a Christmas market b4... what do we do there? Is it like a carnival w rides? Or a flea market where you buy ornaments? Any suggestions?
More like a flea market rather than a carnival. But it’s just a great place to get in the Christmas spirit, and the food is usually fantastic!
