as a f2p player, i can say that his lc was 100% worth it! for one it helped his damage, and it is.... aesthetically pleasing huehuehue
I managed to snag it at 9 pity starting at 2 pity. He really wanted to educate me and I also learned that he does insane dmg with it! And he makes Sim U with elation and Topaz super fun!
I saved up for it and luckily won 75/25. Man do I love his character. He so deservesss
I honestly loved his kit and felt it was worth it since I was already in pity, also the enemies defense numbers are going in the negative
If you get his LC and assuming ur gonna run silver wolf or pela, quantum 4pc is very good on him, hope this helps@AiyvenConnor

Pela alone with Resolution Shines is enough to sustain his debuffs and almost everyone should have a Pela at this rate and he applies his own debuffs. He is extremely F2P friendly.
It is weird how pela has been in so many banners considering that she is so good

dr. ratios lc is genuiely so good that even though i was supposed saving for aventurine i wished for it 😭😭luckily i got it on 8 pity, but if i didnt got it then, i would still pull just to get it
Unless you plan To get aventurine's light cone Or eidolons In addition to him you should have More than enough time To save Anyway. He is like 4 banners away

Ye, same boat but I was saving for Sparkle. I was really hoping to be able to skip it or get it early but I got it at exactly 65 pity lol oof. But here's to Ratio hitting like a truck

If you had Topaz there, a 2nd follow-up character would do exponentially more damage (especially in elation) than a mere 68% damage boost (with the dice's already 200+% boost it becomes less efficient) and 25% res pen statstick character.
Also, I would avoid fu xuan (my 9k fu xuan is paper in difficulty 5) for the last phase. I usually switch to bailu (because I don't have the limited abundances) and rely on enhanced regression of annhilation and unenhanced being of abundance.
I swear my fu Xuan is somehow tankier in every game mode except for SU. The blessings just don’t help hr
Yeah I had to use Bailu on my Conundrum 12 clear, her ult kept my Fu from getting one shot, she's still such a tanky lil dragon.
Moment of Victory and/or swapping one of your HP main stat pieces for DEF goes a long way.
Destructions damage reduction and defense boosts from fighting spirit is amazing for Fu Xuan, Preservation shields help a lot as well. I've been able to keep her alive fairly easily up to Conundrum 10, although if I have bad luck with blessings she can get one-shot.
@@RepileKing Good suggestion, my Fu has like 9.8k HP, I can swap a piece for DEF and get her DEF over 2k, I don't use ERR on her since I have her sig LC.. I'll give that a shot tonight, thanks!
He’s the first character I’ve pulled the LC for, and I think it’s absolutely worth it!

@@user-bu6xp8le5otf? It gives 44 percent CD, overall damage bonus when ulting AND defense ignore on follow ups. It's one of, if not the best hunt LC in the game.

I've been doing GnG with Ratio and Topaz on elation, and it's a breeze. The only thing I really have to worry about is survival, but that's pretty easy when I can kill the enemy before it can even take a turn
2:06 I don't know if moga is going go see this comment but the dr ratio light cone does not work on topaz as it require you do deal damage with ultimate to get the second part of the light cone so with topaz you only getting the first part as topaz ultimate is a buff go her follow up and does not do damage
I actually got his LC on a single while watching this. Was gonna save my LC pity for Sparkle's but Ratio's LC is so pretty and the passive is insanely good
When his banner came out I got him from mail and then had like 3 pulls or smth (I pulled for Ruan mei) and I used them on his light cone which I got on 2 pity
I got his LC and finally second piece for +20% follow-up attack damage, and this is BIG upgrade

With new setup->76k
I am so glad that he is free and I am fortunately guaranteed to get his lightcone so I wasted no time and grinded for it. It was worth it!

As far as I know, this lc don't work on topaz, cuz to get dmg% and def ignore u have to do dmg with ult and her ult is just buff
I decided to take the gamble and go for his lc and it PAID OFF. not only does it improve his damage significantly, but it makes him wayyyy tankier compared to my topaz

his lc doesnt work on topaz lol, half of the effect needs the ult to hit the enemy which topaz’s ult doesnt
Atleast it still gives 44% crit dmg tho, although it really sucks the rest doesn't work with her...

@@potattherapistmobile2149 Unfortunately, the ultimate needs to hit the enemy for that to happen, so he actually doesn’t get that buff. Still a decent lc choice for topaz regardless.

The light cone makes him better because he wants enemies to have less defense and less resistances via debuffs his ult buff from light cone makes it insane

Actually he is pretty good I get 435k with him (c6 r5) no buffs except his and fu xuan crit rate he is my favourite character
I don't think c6r5 is a really good benchmark for characters

his LC doesn't work with Topaz as the requirement are "using ultimate to hit a target" and Topaz's ult is a buff for Numby.
(I was also at first think that his LC would be a good alt for Topaz, until i read the requirement to gain the FUA buffs which cannot be done by Topaz)
The 44% crit dmg is still nice tho I think
I’m new to the game and I tried to build him. I used up a bunch of resources just to find out none of my current characters work with him…oops

you can use hi in the future! also he works well with dot characters if you dont have pela / welt.

"You can't be a pushover in the first 2 rounds then go crazy in the last one".. well.. welcome to Gold and Gears. It's the first time I've felt burned out in HSR, getting to that last boss and fail at 5% over and over and over again /sigh.
But I'm really liking Ratio with his LC :D. It's really easy to get those FUA with him, I don't think about it much, and seems to sit a 100% for the most part.
unfortunately gold and gears is really rng reliant as what matters is your blessings / curios and thats all. you can, however, do a company times dice run since it.. well.... you basically dont struggle at all once you get like 2 right curios.
@@ew2dryeah, I was able to do Conundrum 12 after about 4-5 tries (thanks largely to luck and E2 IL Dan), but the part I'm stuck on is completing all the dice runs at C10, because then the luck works against you. Plus I may be lacking a complete understanding on how to make the best dice for each category. I've done 5 now, but there's more to go /cry.

My relic luck is so bad that even with a sig LC I have like 60/99 crits raito (ha ha) how did this happen 😰my units without crit weapons have better ratios thant this... guess my Ratio got ratio'd😩

My lvl 60 Dr Ratio does more dmg than my fully build Seele🤧
I mean there not mostly because Aloy was for a Collaboration she wasn't given out as a "reward"
Still he's a unit that requires a lot of building and the difference between him w/o his light cone is significant
Kind of like they knew people would pull for so he's not really free if you want him to work at full capacity.
Another aspect is how units are getting rushed out I give it 3 patches before another character uproots him
Still that's 3 patches were people can have fun with him
