I was typed as a ‘clear’ type because the professional told me I have a lot of contrast for my features and bright hazel eyes. Then I was typed as a summer by another professional because she thought my features were a little light for winter. It’s very difficult. I’m cool, medium in value (light brown hair, fair skin, hazel eyes) and muted colours don’t suit me at all .
If they typed you based on you features they don't seem so professional to me... they should actually test the colors on you, if you suit clear colors better than go with that. Your features are only too light for "deep winter", there is no reason you can't be clear. I have light features too and am a bright winter. There are a lot of misconceptions being spread, just because certain types are more rare in some categories doesn't mean they don't exist.
I am neutral-cool, have medium deepness and medium contrast..I'm confused. I could be either winter or summer and can't settle on one. My hair is quite dark with ashy and reddish tones, my eyes are a greyish blue with a golden ring around the pupils. I tan incredibly fast and can get quite dark, but always with a pink undertone. I look great in black and dark blues and purples, but also feel like I don't have enough chroma to be a winter...My eyes aren't that striking but my features are high enough in contrast to not be muted...
You could be a Summer. A summer type can fluctuate from light and soft to very contrasting due to major cold undertone. Cold colors have a natural ability getting high contrast. See how you feel about different grey shades near your face. Normally, a Summer type should go well with it.
No one really addresses the way the seasons go white or go gray. I have gone platinum with my eyebrows remaining very dark with neutral skin but our eyes lighten as we age too... So... low contrast or high? How do you tell? Please help us older women out.
Hi. From your description, you are now low contrast to medium (esp if you're fair-skinned). From what I've learned, for low contrast should wear colors that are beside each other in the color wheel (for outfits, e.g. Green & yellow green). For medium contrast, you can wear colors that are 40 to 45 degrees with respect to each other in the color wheel (e.g. Green and yellow). Don't wear colors on opposite sides of the wheel - e.g. Green & red.
I love the way you match the colours to nature and the landscapes. So soulful.
Thank you very much!
@@FilosoFashion same , they said that i'm true warm autumn, but i am not warm that much 😮💨?
When I look on picture my skin on arms and legs looks very light but my face is yellow😳 I am so confused😢
Such an indepth, well-done video! Thank you. I have a very similar complexion and colouring to yourself. What is your season out of curiosity?
Thank you 😊 I’m an autumn transit
But shame natural grey isn’t addressed 🥴. Very few people do address us warm true springs. I’m medium skin tone

too dark for soft autumn and too light for deep autumn. I’m confused😭
Maybe you're the opposite season?
also, it turned out that I am warm autumn, but I think that apart from the yellow skin, the eyes and hair are not warm enough. Am I deep then?
@@FilosoFashionWhat would that be according to you ?

@@FilosoFashion Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it! I will try different greys.
