My brother tried out Ultimate Armor X on some old bosses today, when I showed him my account for XDive Offline. With only muscle memory to rely on after 20 years, he still had it in him. His first instinct after getting the hang of the controls was to hum this very song and comment on how iconic it is. Hope you're having a good start to 2025.
I may be of an unpopular opinion, but I think this is the best X game of the 32 bit era. Still not the biggest fan of the zoomed in level design that started with this game, but the game is just absolutely amazing overall. Great story, great interactions. I think the only reason why so many like X5 better is because of the fight between X and Zero and it intending to end the franchise.
Parker Peters Zero is no match for X, because while Zero's powerful, X has the power of a variable, so he's able to do anything including kicking Zero's ass without any effort

The summer after 7th grade I discovered this masterpiece of a game. Thanks Wilson, I’ll always remember you as the guy who recommended X4 to me and told me it was the best X game. You weren’t lying!!
When this music hits you hard the first time playing X4 making you feel like you're in the 22nd century. And after playing the X to X3 series, you realise, you're in a new era and things will never be the same again with playing Megaman.
I always loved this theme. It fit X so perfectly. The hero rushing back into action to save the innocent from being destroyed. And it fits the urgency of the Sky Lagoon stage too. I love how more heroic it sounds too. I mean Zero's is badass, but this is more...just, if you see what I mean. _Razzle Joestar_

I remember popping in x4 in 1997 on SEGA SATURN and hearing this for the first time. As a kid i was blown away by how far MegaMan had came, i didn't think gaming could get any better. Thinking back i wasn't far from the truth, i don't even play videogames anymore lol

This game had the best X soundtrack. While X1 had a great track in every level, X4 had a melodic and truly outstanding soundtrack that didn’t need the same metal that came before it. In a lot of ways, it reminds me of Mega Man and Bass’ emotional pieces
