Located near the Golden Temple, Bharawan Da Dhaba is a great pure veg restaurant in Amritsar. It was set up over 100 years ago, in 1912. The food here tastes extremely delicious because every dish is slow-cooked on a low flame. When you're craving for authentic Punjabi food, order their famous Makki Ki Roti and Sarson Ka Saag. It is a great family restaurant with a loyal customer base. Talking about their ambience, it has a perfect dining atmosphere with old-fashioned tables, chairs, working fans and a huge crowd of regular visitors. You can also go for their stuffed kulchas (paneer, aloo) with Amritsari chhole.

I've been to both kesar and bharawan multiple times. With full honesty, bharawan is way better in palette, cleanliness and usage of desi ghee. Kesar is way too overrated.

I went there 6 years ago. I remember I had Chole kulche, we also oredered Paneer kadai,naan,Dal Makhani,Mushroom and saag.In sweets we had Phirni.IT was an oossm experience and we had the corner seat.

Everything is amazing there. Unfortunately I didn't got chance to bow Sri Harmandar Sahib or Wagha Border. But as well as I know, Langar sahib at Sri Harmandar Sahib is the tastiest food u could have, anywhere. If u had that, PLEASE let me know if food at Bharawan da dhabaa was better than that.
