This has been my retirement dream been look there for a few years now this is great what your doing
Thanks for watching. Paradise for sure....
Just found your videos! We are going to be doing the same in the following year. I agree, you can’t listen to people negativity and saying it’s not possible. Yes it is possible, you are doing it and we will also.
Thanks for watching, I have found that the negative comes from those too afraid to try and fail or those who just gave up. It's a journey and adventure so far of good and bad times and the exceptionally great times in between. Maybe we will cross paths here one day. Safe travels to you.
@@WhereToNexxt We love your homestead set up. I need so ask, do you have to cut the grass on the 1/2 Ac by the house? Or do you run goats over it to keep it down? It seems like a lot to mow. I appreciate all the advise and insight you have to offer.
@@charleshowell6097 lol I mow it with a push mower, great excerise for me. Takes me about 1 hour to do 1/4 acre so I do one a day so not bad really... Mowers are expensive here just like everything else so a push mower it is... thanks for watching...
freedom and serenity....inna belize.......hahahahahha....U crack mi oup...
Thanks for watching, what may be one mans serenity may be another's hell. It's all about the individual.
Thanks for your Video and sharing your information and showing us around. Would you tell in which area/province do you live in? Looks nice there and it looks like a lot of work. Have fun!
@@utaboer3856 HI, thanks for watching. We are in Cayo district... Cayo is great...
@@WhereToNexxt Thank you .. I will visit St. Ignacio and surroundings this year in November to make some research for moving to Belize. Hopefully I find some nice places like yours ...
@@utaboer3856 you will....
Thanks for sharing. I have a few questions. But, first thing is your power source. Did you bring from the states or purchased in Belize?
Purchased here, importing solar equipment is costly so buying here was a better option for me. Thanks for watching.
Subscribed, I have a small house on Ambergris K and my dream property 1300 feet from secret beach. I am also thinking of getting an acre on the mainland to do exactly what you’re doing.
Thanks for watching, we love the water but nothing beats the cool nights and mornings in the mountains even on the hottest days...😁😁
Big props for making that commitment. I'll be catching up on the other posts...thanks.
I was so close to buying land in Belize in 2022 but things didn't work out with the seller. The land was one acre with lots of fruits tree on it for $11k, that was such a deal. I'm starting over....Belize is my home. Thanks for sharing.
Oh wow! Good luck to you
You certainly have a small bit of paradise. Did you build the house on site or was it pre made trucked in etc? cheers. P.S. -11C outside here.
Hi, we had it built right on site. Took about a month to build with 2 guys. Thanks for watching the channel.
Thank you for sharing your journey. Almost bought land last year. Might go back to Belize in september.
Thanks for watching
My husband and I are looking at land in Belize. I’m curious: where are you located? How much did you pay for your 1 acre lot and for your home?
Located off the Hummingbird Hwy in Cayo, we did everything for about 50k. You can find 1/4 acre plots for about 10 to 15k in Belize.
hmmmm....freedom and serenity...in belize...like i wonder how that worked out....[lol]
Thanks for watching
Awesome. Ty for sharing 👊
What mile marker are you off of hummingbird hwy? We are off od mile 41 Wondering if we are neighbors?
By Armenia and Springfield in the foothills Of the Maya mountains about 25 min outside of Belmopan... Thanks for watching.
Hi, great video, i was wondering how you make income? Do you have just money savings or money comming in from usa or a job? My problem is how to make a living in Belize.
Hi, currently a remote job. Lots of expats start businesses here and hire locals. Belize doesn't pay well and even if you get a work permit you probably wouldn't get hired by anyone. 99% of business here is foreign owned. I would really research working here first. Minimum wage here is 2.50 US an hour so it's hard to survive on that.
How are you handling bugs and maskitos?
Hi, they are only around mostly in the dusk and dawn moments but it's different in all areas. Thanks for watching and commenting. 😁
I don't think the "we are all by ourselves" part is something to encourage, especially being white.
