- I've had a good few questions over the last few months on how to use the Indian Ride Command system. So I decided to create this tutorial to help those who are new to the system or have any questions. If I have missed anything and you have any questions please let me know and I would be happy to help.

Thanks for putting this video together. I got more out of the 15 minutes then I did from the Dealer. Ride Safe
No problem mate. Happy to help. If you ever need any help just let me know.
Thanks, that helped some at least a start.
Cheers from Denver, Colorado, USA! I'm gonna try the route planning soon - thank you for the tips!
No problem. My pleasure. If you have any issues just message me. Will try help where I can. Thank you for watching
Much thanks… very helpful. 👍🏻🙏🏍
No problem. I’m glad it’s helped you. I love using the ride command as it’s a great tool but it can be tricky when you first start using it.
Thanks for the knowledge brother, nice to have your stop's set up, good job on showing how to use this, stay safe and stay healthy brother 💯✌️😎
Thank you mate. May not be revoting viewing but if you don’t know I’m sure it will help. All ok here. Stay safe my brother

Great walkthrough!! Wish you could do routes directly on your phone. That would be an awesome addition.
Hello from Switzerland. Thanks for the video. It’s helped me sort out some of the issues I have but on my new Challenger the system is still pretty buggy. For example I regularly get a message “error calculating route. Please retry” and this happens irrespective of whether I create the route on the Ride Command web site or on Basecamp. Any suggestions. Otherwise great channel.
Hi Tony. Thank you for your message. Yes, there are a few things you can do. Whilst I’m not currently riding a challenger I have spent a lot of time on them. There is a lot of similarities between the bikes. The first thing I would do is go back to your dealer and ask them to update your software. If there is no update ask them to reload it. They are releasing a lot of updates due to glitches and it’s not impossible for the software to corrupt which seems to be the issue u are experiencing. I think that is more than likely the issue. If u still have a problem let me know. I will feed the error back to the Indian guys and they will hopefully launch a fix. Hopefully that sorts it for you. Thank you for watching my channel.
PS. I wouldn’t do the update urself. It’s notoriously glitchy. Much better when the dealer just does it via their system. Ride safe
Thanks for the advice. I am due in for my first service so will let the dealer update and hopefully iron out the bugs. Ride safe
I want this feature on the Scout.
It would be nice but a little bulky
Man, I could have used that trip planning and weather overlay on my trip to Idaho in 2019. I was doing all that manually at each stop. My next bike will be an Indian Challenger.
The ride command definitely makes things easier. Ive loved it from day one. The challenger is a great bike. I love everything about it. It will be a great buy for u.
Check out my challenger review.

@@undeadvikingzombie I'm torn between the Challenger and the Chieftain Darkhorse versions right now.
Ooh. They are both great buys. Just depends on what you like. If you like performance and range, it’s the challenger. If you prefer a little more sedate with the beat of a traditional American bike then it’s the chieftain. I’m on a chieftain now. I’m a speed freak so my choice is probably a little more towards the challenger. That being said if you can get the 116 chieftain then I’d probably go there instead. Either way you win
@@undeadvikingzombie Guess I have some test riding to do.
I do not have a "Send to Bike" button on my phone app. Has anyone else had this issue? I have checked and it is the updated version
Bonjour
Merci
Je suis sur Indian Challenger
