The Cat actually wondered earlier if that was the case, but The Grinch got pissed the moment The Cat even suggested his mother may have done any wrong doing, which is why the Cat figured out how to reach him

There was once a grumpy friend named Elena who is the Grinch to my Cat in the Hat. The reason she's always grumpy is because her father, whom she was very close with got arrested for murder. I felt bad for her and I knew that her father wouldn't want her to be like this. So I wanted to use a father version of this song to deliver her father's hidden feelings to her, but there was someone who said that she'll think it's stupid. To be honest, I have a feeling that I would need the choir and orchestra to help me with this project.
