Ive come across some Death Rattle books in the $2 bins but never #1 or #8. Ive been working on the Vertigo Hellblazer for a couple of years. I picked up #1 for $40 a while back and most of the 300 issue run is available in bargain bins. The Final Issue is a bit scarcer and I managed to dig that one out of a dollar bin. Great reading !
I have no doubt that I would enjoy it if I were ever able to dive in. It’s definitely my kind of story. Maybe I’ll get a collection of the TPBs in a collection sometime and give it a read.
Lmao nothing is hidden anymore, thankfully. Hate that mentality. It's why comic lovers gained the "don't talk about it" mentality. Keeping us shut ins and loners. Unlike the 60s and 70s (at least from my understanding), where kids talked about everything with everyone else and friendships grew from a common interest. Everyone is so busy trying to one up everyone else. When they should be shouting from the rooftops! At least, in my opinion.
I still like those 90’s X-Men books… they are so appealing bcuz of those Classic covers. I didn’t collect in the 90’s and didn’t have any comic book stores near me, but I went to swampmeet and got comics for $1.
😢 That’s a bummer, but real life comes first. I’m working on the $50 and $20 budget videos as we speak. Hopefully, something I none of those may be better suited for your current season. Best wishes.
@CoMoComicBooks I'm a reader first and fortunately a library near me has a decent sized trade and collected edition along with manga section that's ever growing. And here in WI libraries are linked to many others so you can order titles online that your local library may not have and they will deliver them for free to your local spot to check out. I've been taking full advantage of it. If you happen to have any trades that don't sell consider sending them to Jack Russell Library in Hartford WI as a donation, or to a local library by you. I donate mine after reading to further the collection they have for public use.

Wasn’t that when Steve Gerber was writing the Daredevil run? He was my least favorite writer at Marvel.
