- This is the full ceremony of the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier June 8, 2022. Several veterans with the Northeast Indiana Honor Flight (trip #37) were selected to participate in laying a wreathe at the tomb.

Really wish people would observe the ceremony with the respect and reverence it deserves. Put down your camera/cell phone for a few minutes and give your full attention to what's going on. It's a Somber ceremony to recognize the sacrifice made by countless service members, and their families. It's not your kids soccer game.
HOLD ON, Mr dc or whatever! People have more than a right to take pictures or record the event taking place in front of them. Notice that the soldier says, “The ceremony that you are about to WITNESS.” The United States 🇺🇸 Army does not do this event in secret 🤫 or hide 🙈 it from the public! People are civilians, not soldiers, and the Honor Guard allows the public to film 🎥 them and doesn’t ask you to leave your phone 📱 at home 🏡. The observers there understand what they are seeing is about, and many of them have experienced this ceremony before. thank you 🎌 🚩 🧑🎤 🏁 👩💼👩🎓
@patrickcalabro8718 I never said it should be hidden or done in secret...I'm just asking that they observe it with the reverence, and respect it deserves. Apparently that's asking to much these days.

@patrickcalabro8718 Unfortunately your 100% correct. We live in a free country, and they are not breaking the law. So my apologies for being wrong. Your right I'm wrong.
This is what our soldiers fought for, for us to be assholes with each other. I think you guys are all right in your choice for how you watch it. I'll watch in reverence, no doubt, buy someone else may want to watch it later or show a family member something inspiring. Again, no wrong input as long as we watch, remember and live the lives these soldiers earned for us.
