Lucky to see this at the cinema. First time I witnessed an audience clap after a film ended. Well deserved. At the end everyone was singing to "Life is for Living" - quite magical moment. Thank you, Coldplay

I saw this in the cinema as well and im so glad I did. Its the next best thing to a live concert I guess! And it wasnt even sold out somehow!

The first time I ever heard Coldplay was when I was five years old. The first song I ever heard was Clocks. Those simple piano chords at the beginning of the song spoke to me, and since that moment, I fell in love with music. Clocks is still my favorite song to date. I can’t even begin to explain how much this band means to me. Literally, I do not even have words that could even describe why or how this band struck my core. I can’t comprehend why this band has made me cry so many times (including the 12 times just watching their film). I don’t understand why I’ve never disliked a song from them. I don’t get why I love them with every fiber that exists in my body. Is it their genuine love for music? Their talents? Their impact to the world? All of the above and more? I don’t know. I cannot tell you. Coldplay is so much more than music, so much more than a band. They’re what I strive to be in life. And that statement shouldn’t make sense because I’m a PA student, but somehow, it’s the only statement that makes sense. So, if a Head Full of Dreams is their last album ever, I just want to thank them for everything they’ve ever done for me and for music. Thank you for getting me through all life has thrown at me so far. Thank you for making me cry. Thank you for making me FEEL. Thank you for existing... the world needed you. I needed you. So just thank you for being the best band history will ever come to know.
Great post. You sound like the perfect person to share this with. The first time I heard Coldplay the tv was playing in the background and some late night show was on. I was half paying attention and I see this guy pumping the piano bench then jumping all around the stage and I made the comment..something like "Who are these monkeys?" Skip ahead a spell and one day I'm driving in my car and Clocks came on the radio. I was hooked. I had no clue at the time that it was the same band. Imagine my surprise when I discovered who it was. Not only is Coldplay my favorite band...I own every cd and know every song by heart. I have yet to see them perform live, but I will. I promise me that. I share in your sentiments. They are amazing. So inspiring. So uplifting. I continue my debates with any naysayers. They are a gift to us all.

You need to experience the concert, it's the best thing you will experience in life.... I get goosebumps when I remember there concert, I cried out of good emotions, can't wait for their next concert.
I wish I could have seen them when they played Lollapalooza in Chicago. That is a great video if you can find it on YT. I tried to go. I ended up watching a live stream. A couple of my relatives have seen them live in Chicago a few times and said it's a religious experience. I have watched most of their concert videos and own one of their concert dvd's. I put their new one on my wishlist for Christmas. I love Chris! I love the band. Every cd is a journey. They have become SO big that I wish I could have seen them when they played more intimate settings. To get near that stage now would be a minor miracle. That is the way I experienced John Mayer in his early days. Stood right in front of him at a live show and it is so much better. But still, to experience Coldplay with so many people of the same mindset would be magical.

Glad we got to see this again. It was a treat for those who stayed in the theater post-credits. It wasn't included with the Amazon Prime version of the film, so I was afraid that the one night showing was the only place anyone would ever have seen it. It's nice that those who may have left the theaters early now have a chance to see this; it was a delightful and insightful add-on to the film, and a chance to meet another wonderful member of the Coldplay family.

I'm glad you never gave up on them Mat! You've blessed us with the most amazing footage from not only an incredible band but more proof that they are equally incredible people. And thank you Chris and Phil (and of course Will, Johnny, and Guy) for allowing us into your world and seeing this journey that you have been on and deciding to release this film. We are forever grateful.

Being part of their world, of all the way, and the birth of Coldplay so directly, so closely is like a mother who gives birth to her child and follows him step by step in all his events and I think it is something unique and unparalleled, and he thinks I'm really very lucky to try this. I, however, from their admirer and supporter of this group unique in the world, even if from far away, I love them because they are years and years that they with their lyrics and their music and the beautiful and inimitable voice of Chris make me feel so. I with them that embrace my soul Always, every time I listen to them wherever I feel I feel at home. Coldplay for me is a virtue and a value to keep in your heart and always handed down to infinity. Really Thank you for making this documentary about Coldplay, as a testimony to what I already knew inside of me ... because they were humble and beautiful when they were little and still have kept this feature ... after all their climb they became stronger, more chameleonic but always keeping their humility and their passion for everything they do. Really Thank you for existing and being as you are. A pure example of humanity. Chris I love you! Coldplay I will love you forever !!!
