The Pinnacle of Police Games: SWAT 4

- Welcome back everyone, been a bit busy so made a short video about one of my favorite games ever and likely the best police game ever, SWAT 4. In this look back, I talk about the features I loved and adored in SWAT 4 as well as cover some of the janky gameplay. The game has incredible atmosphere and is a classic from the year 2005 and the masterpiece of Irrational Games.

Played the serial killer mission for the first time co-op with a stranger. It was sooo tense! Probably one of my most memorable video game experiences :)
I was only 7 years old when I met this game. 2007. I went to a ciber (that place where theres a lot of computers and You pay to use one a certain amount of time). I used to play cs 1.6, sven coop, far cry 1/2, flash games and all of those stuff. One day I entered by mistake to this amazing Game so I said "hmmm why not? Lets give it a try". Oh, I will never ever forget the feeling. Food wall restaurant. There I was, without any knowledge of the Game (the Game was in english and i'm from Argentina so at that time I didn't handle english at all...), didn't Even knew how to handcuff the Bad guys. Still, the Game Game me such an emotion rushy feeling that let me crawling for more. I had to went back that whole week just to finish the single player. And after that, messing arround, I found out that in the multi player menú, If i hit Online instead of LAN, then, all of the sudden, a TON OF SERVERS LOADED TO THE SCREEN. Servers from my country. I can't explain the amount of time I dedicated to the multiplayer from this game. It could be coop, vip, barricade, anything. It was just... fun. But also, another experience. There wasn't such a game as good and innovate like this.
Probably My fav mission is red library and the old granite hotel. Loved those missions.
Also, isnt there any online servers? Last year I used to play one sv that was kinda active. I mean, it was coop mod, but still, there was a high chance of being at leas three in the sv at the same time.

This game is great, especially with the Swat: Elite Force mod, definitely one of my favorite tactical shooters.
5:23 He says, using the M4 in every single clip in this video, arguably the worst weapon for CQC or close quarter engagements, requiring an entire afternoon to zoom down to precise accuracy.
You're not wrong lmao, the other guns don't handle much better imo. The shotgun is the only passable gun
But arguably this is because Sierra weren't being realistic in the first place. The recoil and spread estimations are way overdone.
The multiplayer is actually some of the most hilarious and fun shit i have ever played, you should really try it!

It's a classic police game. It's one of my absolute faves
It's pretty great and even has mod support for custom maps and even larger mods like Sheriff's Special Forces (SSF) and Swat: Elite Force, which add new weapons, equipment, and gameplay elements.
I wouldn't say the first few simple missions were bland. Much more believable than cultists and swarms of terrorists, in my opinion. I liked it KISS.
Bland may have been a bad word. But they were a good tether to realism when you had the crazier missions
