- Imtiaz Ali says that Ranbir approached after he had heard that Imtiaz had a script like Rockstar.
He says that he wrote the script again and then casted Ranbir. He says that when he saw Nargis he knew that it was it.
Its been 9 years of rockstar today ! And I watched it again 28th time... Fabulous movie !

Everybody hates nargis in rockstar but I totally get why he cast her. She was perfect for it. There were imperfections in her acting but she still was the best choice. I cannot imagine anybody else as heer
