+The Bird ....I read a few no good comments about this movie so I did decided tnot to watch it when it came out....but since I got netflix I decided ti give a chance ...and//SURPRICE...I liked it
Aaron Richards hey! aliens are smart they can have technology what we can't even imagine and they can be looking at you if they rally want unnoticed they are smarter than us 100000000x smarter
This movie was actually really good for a horror movie. Usually scary movies are just scary and they don't have a plot and it doesn't really make sense but this movie actually did and I really liked it.
Yeah I had the same thought after watching it, it's more like a psychological horror , instead of delivering cheap scare jumps it was full of mystery and unknown and at one point it made me question reality "what if...?"
I watched this film like an hour ago, and I thought I shouldnt rush to make a comment and I let my self settle down and I have to say that this film is the most perfect horror film I have ever seen in my life and it is truly the scariest as no other horror managed to freak me out like that. No scary faces, no shocking moments, no weird monsters and definitely no ghosts like you see in typical 21st century movies. Im going to write a letter to mr Scott Stewart the writer and directer of this movie and let him know how much I appreciate his master peace!
I really felt for the dad in this movie. His frustration to not have the control to keep his family safe was felt through the actors acting. Excellent film
Probably because of the utter helplessness of situation. The greys are unstoppable in this movie. It makes it even more scarier when they are targeting the children
There is a true story about the same thing and has actual footage from a police body cam. The FBI had gone there over 300 times. In a small town. It called THE FOURTH KIND.
Realistic family dynamics and natural dialogue. Not too many jumpscares, mostly tension and atmospheric horror. Wish there was more but the ending definitely got me
i remember being so terrified to walk into my kitchen and turn on the light whenever i watched this movie because i didn’t want to get abducted by an alien
Why not? I think aliens are only selecting a few humans to have them move into another planet cause they'll probably know this earth will eventually see the catastrophic damage we have caused kinda like adam and eve
You should read Communion by Whitley Strieber. Had me checking the closets, under the beds, etc... Though, if really think about it, they can go through walls, so no since in checking or worrying.
yep had to quickly switch the channel over and watch family guy to take my mind off it then american dad came on after the grey alien thing lol brought back flash backs of the greys
When me, my brother, and my mother read the description before watching the movie we thought is wasn’t gonna be that scary, because when we think of aliens we think of little weird green people that fly around, especially since we watch Alien TV(that show is hilarious, for us al least), boy were we wrong... this movie was on a whole nother freaking level of scary... I left home traumatized and satisfied at the same time.
I'm so glad you didn't say Independence Day. I feel like I'm the only person that finds that movie silly as hell. Fourth Kind is amazing, btw. Especially because of Koteas and Jovivich :D
This movie is definitely going to have a part 2 based on the ending. It wasn't scary to me but it was quite unusual which made it good and the acting was great.
I remember my bf said he was watching this movie called dark skies about ghosts. Me, already saw it, said, it's about aliens. He was sure it wasn't and wanted to bet for 10 dollars. Got 10 dollars today. Bought a pack of cigarettes. What a day.
Samuel Linares Yea you must be real fun at parties! Smoking is a choice and don't act like I don't know what I'm doing and the risks that come with it. One Cigarette might get you cancer. But it probrably won't. That is al.
Very effective. How frustrating would it be to go through this, knowing that the first time you say “alien” everyone stops listening, and you can’t prove a thing…
I'm surprised what people are saying about this movie. I LOVED IT. I just finished watching it. It was creepy and the ending was interesting. I'm only 14 but I have watched many horror films. I've never had one that made my heart pump as fast as this one. I don't know what it was. I suggest you try it for yourself. I think it can go either way. You either love it or hate it.
Don't watch the trailer if you want to see the film! Trailer literally sums up the entire film. This film has good suspense, intriguing storyline and good plot twists. That is only if you skip this trailer.
I can't take this movie seriously because when I see J.K. Simmons all I think of is Whiplash. Like I imagine him calling the alien a worthless piece of shit, no wonder Mommy left you. Or if he threw a drum at the alien.
Yeah... not my dogs. They'd be under the bed hiding, probably barking - but expecting to hide behind me. Good alert dogs, not so much on the protection side!! That's where SMITH & WESSON come in !!!!!
Just watched the trailer two hours ago. Watched the film. What a great movie!! I'm usually pretty picky with sci-fi, but this one was actually pretty damn good!
Just watched this movie again today for the 3rd time since it came out and i have to say i still really enjoyed it. Intense and the weird feeling it gives u inside is what makes it frighteneing and unsettling with a sad ending. Such an underated movie imo. Not many movies do this with out all the jump scares. A must watch esp' for all horror and science fiction lovers.
Good film. The production is really good and the mood is set very well. The film is effective without trying to give reason for what's going on. It happens, its experienced, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Definitely worth seeing, especially for fans of movies with aliens.
This was a really good movie. And I've known about the Greys for a while, so when they talked about them and such, I became more fascinated by them. The ending was definitely a twist for me, and it left you with a good cliffhanger!!
Steven Spielberg was supposed to make a movie similar to this back in the late 70s, early 80s. It sort of made it into production but never came into fruition. It was called Night Skies and it was supposed to a semi-sequel to Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind. From the bits and pieces I've read it was based on a real life incident that happened in mid 1950s Kentucky about a family terrorized by extraterrestrial goblin-like creatures with glowing eyes. If this movie was made in the 70s it would've been awesome and probably an epic cult classic.
I saw this movie years ago, and more often than not, when I get paranoid at night, the things I saw in this movie _still_ come to mind. Truly truly truly a gem of a movie.
One of the best ufo abduction films in recent years. The CIA has declassified the infamous ufo files and I hope it helps bring more awareness to the phenomenon
The song enter sandman has a few lines that fits perfectly with this "i tuck you in walk within keep you free from sin til the sandman he comes, sleep with one eye open, gripping your pillow tight, exit light, enter night, take my hand, we're off to never never land."
Sorry folks. Not retracting my statement. I come from the Kill Em all era. Musically this is meh. Lyrically, absolute cheese. But to reach their own. ;-)

I thought this film was solid. Worth the watch if you don't want to think too much but still want to watch a good movie. I don't really understand the haters, there is way worse horror than this that deserves hate.
I remember watching this over and over again when i was younger, my cousins would come over, we'd get a big blanket, Whatever snacks we could find (wasn't exactly the most wealthy family) If it was day we'd try to block out the light as much as possible, if it was night we'd avoid going into the kitchen because of how dark it was.. it really was just such an amazing time
I remember watching "fire in the sky" as a kid I had the most vivid intense nightmares for weeks about aliens. If your the least bit skeptical about life from other planets be prepared. 👽🖖🏼✌🏼️
Definitely worth the watch!!! Has twists you wouldn't think of. Never watch the whole trailer, shows the whole movie - watch half and it looks good, probably is. This one was a win!
Well some kind of a creature, but in human way. looks like it have arms and legs, and actully is moving towards something....i dont know, well... you can call it an Alien

+Raphael Escobar Quashigah Most of horror movies connect the evil to children. I dont know the reason, its just like each kid is Evil or Satan. they made me scare of kids. lol
+Abadez Blues according to religion the reason why is because children are programmable it's what the religious do they "train" they're kids to believe in they're religion without giving them a single choice as a young child they're gonna believe you number one because they're dumb at that age and number 2 is because you're they parent
I liked the part when the alien expert said that the alien invasion has already began but people expect it to be like a scene of gunbattle and chaos. That part gave me the chills, it probaly has began and we dont even know o.O
the ending...or the (bad) twist pretty much killed the movie because if you watched it at a theater or with a nice sound system the first hour and then some was actually really good and tense :O But some dumb choices were made in the script and would have benifited from a little extra work.
You know that feeling when you want to watch a movie, but you also dont want to watch a movie?
Well, thats how I feel about that movie.
The Bird goddamn. Tell me about it.
Ill watch it later.
+The Bird ....I read a few no good comments about this movie so I did decided tnot to watch it when it came out....but since I got netflix I decided ti give a chance ...and//SURPRICE...I liked it
yea the father said, leave them alone so i will not watch it
Watch it, it's not that scary
Def (dont) watch "the fourth kind" then haha

This movie was actually really good for a horror movie. Usually scary movies are just scary and they don't have a plot and it doesn't really make sense but this movie actually did and I really liked it.

What makes it even more scary is that its completely possible that this could be true.
Yeah I had the same thought after watching it, it's more like a psychological horror , instead of delivering cheap scare jumps it was full of mystery and unknown and at one point it made me question reality "what if...?"
This movie gave me PTSD. I'd rate it with a solid 8.5.
Seriously, for about a month, I had to sleep with my lights on. ._.
+Mckenzie i liked this for being random
this movie was spot on amazing it shows you that we aren't alone in this world :)
i agree lol, this movie fucked me up i was so scared like i locked all my doors and windows and slept with a knife incase any aliens came :P

Thank you for describing about how I feel about this movie could not put it together myself.
I have just started it, first time watching 😁thanks 🤘🤘
I highly recommend this movie if ur a fan of aliens or just horror movies. Terrifying movie.
Omg yes I was so sad at the end wish it was longer it was really good this is my second time watching it
Yea is. But i would like it to be scarier. And i wish it was longer. The ending was sad
@Blue Sky i feel like annabelle and the conjuring is way scarier
It’s one of those movies where the trailer was worse than the actual film 😂
I really felt for the dad in this movie. His frustration to not have the control to keep his family safe was felt through the actors acting. Excellent film
This has to be the first movie that disturbed me in a long time idk why
Probably because of the utter helplessness of situation. The greys are unstoppable in this movie. It makes it even more scarier when they are targeting the children
My wife says the same thing! Lol
There is a true story about the same thing and has actual footage from a police body cam. The FBI had gone there over 300 times. In a small town. It called THE FOURTH KIND.
Ya me too... I was scared shitless!!
Because we've all been probed

@Professional Keyboard Warrior dude, haven't you seen the new seasons?
Where was the neighborhood (also the police) when neighbors started hearing gunshots in the middle of the night?
Realistic family dynamics and natural dialogue. Not too many jumpscares, mostly tension and atmospheric horror. Wish there was more but the ending definitely got me
can't stand jump scares, they're like diarrhea - tiresome and unsatisfying. Will take thriller and suspense over jump scares any day.
i remember being so terrified to walk into my kitchen and turn on the light whenever i watched this movie because i didn’t want to get abducted by an alien
Why not? I think aliens are only selecting a few humans to have them move into another planet cause they'll probably know this earth will eventually see the catastrophic damage we have caused kinda like adam and eve
yep thinking to see those tall aliens and expecting to see birds pelting at the windows.
ur pfp is killing me
I was scared to blink when I was in bed(with the lights off) because o thought that an alien would appear 😭🤚
Try watching the third kind 💗
Just when things were about to get exciting, the movie ended.
I hate that so much
Is it the one from producer of sinister where can i watch it here
What? It ended perfectly
Thanks for ruining the film
Thank you for the warning.
this film scared the shit out of me
Louie Hannigan exactly. Gives you an eerie feeling and makes you wonder whats really out there.

I became paranoid because of this film.

1. Fire in the sky
2. Alien abduction (found footage film)
3. Dark skies
4. Extraterrestrial
5. The fourth kind
Alien Abduction blew my mind with their, uh, modified way of floating abductees up to the ship. :)
Also, The Signal is pretty good!
Your forgetting Paul and ET
I'm so glad you didn't say Independence Day. I feel like I'm the only person that finds that movie silly as hell.

+Abadez Blues according to religion the reason why is because children are programmable it's what the religious do they "train" they're kids to believe in they're religion without giving them a single choice as a young child they're gonna believe you number one because they're dumb at that age and number 2 is because you're they parent
kelly, could be true. but that really sucks
what do birds hitting windows have anything to do with children?
Maybe because it has to do with magnetic field? Or anything
I have seen this movie and it's awesome, for people that enjoy horrors.
I nearly peed myself.Well,watching this
I liked the part when the alien expert said that the alien invasion has already began but people expect it to be like a scene of gunbattle and chaos. That part gave me the chills, it probaly has began and we dont even know o.O
And to this day he never got to finish that epic game of modern warefare
"From the producers of Paranormal Activity and Insidious".
Some of the cheesiest "horror" films ever made. Should I take a chance and watch this?
Alex C. my coworker highly recommended it to me
This movie is different than a lot of suspense movies I've seen. It didn't use any cliche jump scare tactics like a lot of movies do.
It's better than both of those, it's definitely worth a watch!
Alex C. its a typical shitty hollywood movie: a disfunctional white rich family and paranormal events. Dont watch it.
Alex C. Yes watch this if you haven't already. And then watch The fourth kind.
I HAVE BEEN CREEPED OUT EVERY NIGHT SINCE I HAVE SEEN IT
When I saw this I was in 5th grade, and it greatly disturbed me; couldn’t sleep for like a week.
There is no save button in an epic game of modern warfare
These comments about this movie are freakin hilarious!
I saw this movie it was .....eh....
the ending...or the (bad) twist pretty much killed the movie because if you watched it at a theater or with a nice sound system the first hour and then some was actually really good and tense :O But some dumb choices were made in the script and would have benifited from a little extra work.
Mathieu Rodrigues I agree....
" They have been experiencing the same things we've been experiencing ... " gotta give up to the writer. Genius
