Thank very much Sarika for this most important topic I really need to know...especially paint consistency!! Some paints I've purchased are quite thick and even when I add the acrylic medium, its still not the right one as you showed in your video!! Is there a ratio of medium and paint that I should follow? Thank you so much for your reply❤💕🌹
@@KraftariabySarika Thank you so much!!!!. I'll definitely try this method and try to see if I could get it to the consistency of pancake batter. Probably, I'm just not doing it right! A video on this subject is highly appreciated!😊😊
I thought the same, not expert ? Im washing your videos because I think your amazing on what you do dooooo. I will keep washing what you do till you become expert 🥰🥰🥰. Thank you so much for you time to teach us your amazing knowledge 🙏
Many thanks for your wonderful videos. I have saved them and revisit when I encounter a problem. I am a beginning dot painter and this video has helped tremendously. Your mandalas are beautiful and are a real incentive to continue to practice.
I loved everything in this video! The different techniques and ways to make a stencil! Thank you so much for sharing your tips to help me get better! ❤️
Thank you so much!! I am dealing with a disability now in my life. I’m now at home a lot now.. Id really love to learn how to do .. I’ve started making a few on rocks and clay that I processed from a nearby creek.. your work is beautiful, so please any videos you may have to help me improve would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks again
I love your video! I have been dotting mandals for about a year and I LOVE IT! I hope I will continue to get better with practice. The tip you provided about the baby powder to thicken paint is very interesting. I can't wait to try it! I am getting ready to post some pics on pinterest and I would love some feedback from you...if possible. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much for making this video and helping us all out! I've just discovered your channel, and am so grateful for it. It's so inspiring and helpful. I'm just starting out, and can't really afford pouring medium right now. Are there any alternatives? Also, if possible, please do show us how to prepare the canvas or background? Thank you again!
Thanks for your useful video. I'm learning this art late in life and I love it. If only my hands would stop shaking I think I can learn. In the meantime I will continue learning at "UA-cam University and everything will be OK. Thanks again and God bless you!
Thanks a lot for this video Sarika... this was very very helpful. I have a question please - what to use to make guidelines (or design itself). And how to erase those marks at the end? Hope to get your reply. Thanks again!
Very informative video....thanks.....can u tell me how to get acrylic artistic colour thinner....as my colour become little thicker so I can't make dots properly
I'm loving your videos! Thank you for sharing your gifts! My question is, what is the thinnest tool that you use for the swooshes? Does the typical smallest pink tool work or is that ceramic tool I have seen you use work best? Thank you! Kiki :-)
Thank you for your kind words. I feel that thin needle tool works best for dragging the dots and making it in any shape. You can use a thin sewing needle or a pin and tape it on a toothpick. That homemade tool also works great.
May I continue to pick your brain? What sealant do you use on coffee mugs? Is it still safe for the microwave or dishwasher? Do you put the sealant only on the outside so it isn't actually inside the mug?
Your all questions are answered in this video. Personally I don’t feel like washing the dot painted mugs in dish washer. They can be easily washed with hands.ua-cam.com/video/dC81cOWkS8k/v-deo.html
I think I prefer my paint to be a little thinner to you. Also I just use water to thin them. Also instead of using a stencil you could just use a ruler and compass and white charcoal pencil and draw lines, although I do like the way you showed to make a simple stencil just with paper. For dotting tools I use about 10 crochet hooks of different sizes that have flat ends, plus a pencil and two bits of dowel and a lip balm stick lid for the biggest circle. I've seen people hot-glue a small coin to a stick for a big circle.
Thank you for this so much, really beautiful work and answered questions I didn't even know I had, I would only ask that you add a CC track, my hearing has aged along with me and with your beautiful accent makes it hard to be sure I am understanding you completely, I really appreciate you doing this very helpful video

You can dilute the paint with water if paint is too thick.
There are many videos on my channel where I have shown how to prepare the canvas.
Your voice is beautiful and so soothing. I wish I could have you as my GPS voice.

Great job! Very well explained!
Thanks for the detailed explanation. I want to use Flash acrylic colours on glass, how do I seal them - in the oven or use epoxy over the painting.
It’s good to bake it.

Hope to get your reply.

you can use any normal eraser. if the marks still doesn’t go you can paint on top of the lines again with the base colour with thin brush.
Very informative video....thanks.....can u tell me how to get acrylic artistic colour thinner....as my colour become little thicker so I can't make dots properly
I have told in the video that you have to mix pouring medium in the paints to make them thin. Link is also given in the description of the video.
Thank you so much :)

What is the tool looking like a big marker, which you use in the beginning of part 5? (violet color)
you can use any round object for making dots.
Thank you for sharing. Is there anything needed to paint on ceramic mugs in order for the paint to not wash off?

Can we use water colour
You can do it on paper for practice but you won’t get the finishing and texture of dot painting with watercolour.
Liked your video. I would like to buy the stencil. Where can I get it?

you can make also by watching this video

Hello. Where do I find those little tubes of paint that you use to make the dots. What are they called? Where can I order?
These are called cones. You can make it yourself. Here is a video tutorial for it. ua-cam.com/video/azkpTON1T_A/v-deo.html
Can we use normal acrylic paint or i have to mix something to make it thin..?
Normal acrylic paints and mix pouring medium to make it thin. Watch this video for all basic questions ua-cam.com/video/K8dybiQQ6pY/v-deo.html
How to erase pensil mark
Is it ok to to use acrylic emulsion instead of medium? Does the acrylic paint peel off of the mugs?
Emulsion paint should be good. If the paint is dried properly and cured in oven it doesn’t peel off.
What is shafting tools that you used in the video
Other than dotting tool
its a clay molding tool.
