- I Encountered This ABANDONED House On My Way To The City! I Had To Check It Out!!
This is one of the houses in the beautiful abandoned neighborhood and they all deserve to be shown. So I'll toss out a few shorter videos to make sure you can see each house on its own.
There are a few things left and some interesting home renovations and decoration to check out plus a beautifully green abandoned pool!

Have never told you, but a little old lady down in Illinois appreciates the fine job you do. Your easy to listen to, your construction background adds much to your analysis of what we see, and I particularly love when you say things like, 'I can see some of you have already gone ahead to the basement.' It's such an original touch.❤
that was neat the way the walls in halls were curved ❤ edit: meant the ceiling. Archways. 😂
The creature from the black lagoon couldn't afford his high rent digs and was forced to live in an abandoned swimmin pool in town. Poor guy doesn't know he's about to be evicted again.

That wall paper was something else very retro. I wonder who was trying to fix the house up and why they stopped. It looked to be boarded up at one time maybe after the notice?? 👋
The blue and red glass things are votive candle holders from "home interiors" they fit in candle holders and sconces. They're about 30 plus years old at least, a lady that lived there at one time likely sold home interiors. Neat to see them again!
Hey Brandon, the holes in the wall above the fireplace were probably where they had a mantle. and yes that was a portable washer in the basement. Cool explore.

Brandon the holes over the fireplace had studs that the mantel was fixed to.

Notice how old houses have the "classic" windows that open by pushing the window UP to open it. I my life every house has windows that open left to right or right to left; get me :)
