Ian Matthews - Shake It

This was one of my favorite songs from 1978, and it's a remake of a song written and originally recorded by Terence Boylan in 1977. This cover is by English singer-songwriter and musician Ian Matthews, and his version went to #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1979. "Shake It" was also a hit on the Adult Contemporary chart, going to #21, and became a Top Ten song in Canada, peaking at #6. In 1989, Ian changed the spelling of his first name to Iain and he's been known as Iain Matthews ever since.

Didn't like that song by The Flying Lizards. "Maybe I'm A Fool" is my favorite Eddie Money song, and I just love those awesome string arrangements in it--I've already posted it here back in 2017:
