I have same laptop. my issue is that when i opened laptop, it will be opening of side edges from both side.
So i have to know that if i want to replace my body case, i Required to change both lower case bottom side) and upper case ( key pad side) or only bottom side case.
pls give some suggestion..

Great job. I have a G50-30, in which I have an issue with the DVD Writer. The DVD Tray does not open. I can hear the sound of the motor running but something keeps slipping (I think). I'm able to open it manually, and it plays, records etc. but only the tray does not open. Can you suggest a solution other than replacing the DVD unit? If there is no alternative, how much would a replacement DVD writer cost? & is the Bezel for the DVD unit separately available?

I have a Lenovo G50-80.. Same hinges problem.. For the Z series: the premium in price usually comes for the geforce 840m which twice as good as the intel HD and AMD cards in the G series (mine has a Radeon R5-330m)
