This video is in memoriam of my baby, Cairo, who tragically passed away on his third birthday from sudden and unexpected heart failure.
I adopted Cairo when he was just a baby kitten, I was in a dark place with my mental health, dealing with deep insecurities and loneliness and he helped me a lot through that, as most pets do. The love he gave me is irreplaceable and I don't know how I will ever fully repair this hole left in my heart.
Cairo was truly a special friend and touched the hearts of many. I want to thank everyone who promptly sent their support through words or through the gofundme, I love you and Cairo loves you.
To Cairo, I'm so sorry things turned out the way they did. I'm sorry that the first vet couldn't see what was really going on. Three years with you was not enough. I would do anything to have one more regular day with you, where you step on my hair and knock things off the nightstand at 5AM so I get up to feed you; where you follow me around the house; where you stick your paws underneath the bathroom door; where you jump on the kitchen counters so you can be at eye level with me; where you cuddle and watch TV shows with Connor and I; where you chase our feet and wrestle our hands; where you sleep on my legs the whole night through. I would do anything. Thank you for touching the hearts of many. Connor, myself, friends, and family love you to pieces.
