Jennies my favorite she's an awesome rapper, singer, dancer, fashionista, and icon. She's the reason why I started to like the group back in 2016 when they dropped their first song. I love them all but I think Jennie really stands out!

I love watching people listen and discover BLACKPINK for the first time. I specifically look for these as I want to see if people are as blown away as I was a little over a year ago. DDU DU DDU DU was the first song I ever heard just a few days after it was released. I have been hooked since. These 4 amazing girls got me through the death of my little brother. They helped me find my happiness again and gave me a reason to smile. Rosé(second from the right) has been my bias from the second I saw her in DDDD. Jisoo(far left) is my bias wrecker. If I am being completely honest though Jennie(second from left) and Lisa(far right) are also my bias wreckers. There is no BLACKPINK without all four members #BLACKPINKFOURever. She saw it and said "Is that for me?" I said "Yes, of course!" She reached out and the security guy passed it to her. She thanked me, then she thanked me again before she left! I couldn't take photos or video at the Sound Check unfortunately but I'm still so happy that I met her. (I guess we're legally dating now lol lol lol 😂😂)

This performance is from "Party People" a Korean TV show. This performance is all Blackpink in that the arrangement is all them and the rap was written by Jennie and Lisa. This song is from their training days, as trainees they were required to do a solo, duet and group performance every month. Three schedule as trainees was 12 hrs a day with 1 day off every other week. This one was praised by the YG CEO which rare for him. YG Entertainment is the company Blackpink was trained by and are contracted to in Asia. For the rest of the world it is Universal Entertainment/Interscope. Jennie was a trainee for 5 years and 11 months, Jisoo and Lisa were trainees for 5 years and 1 month and Rose' was a trainee for 4 years.

BLACKPINK have a bigger following internationally than in Korea, not saying they aren't famous there - just not as popular. Right now BLACKPINK are ONE OF the biggest (if not THE biggest) Kpop girl group internationally. If you end up getting more into Kpop, you'll probably end up with tons more subs...because there are literally tons of groups/soloists/genres all sitting under the general name Kpop. Three out of the four members are fluent in English 🤙🤙🤙🤙

To answer your question about them leaning against the chairs, it is because it is harder to sing correctly while fully sitting down. So basically it has to do with giving the illusion of the informality and intimacy of sitting while keeping the neccessary posture for singing correctly. And my bias is Lisa (who can also sing) though Jennie is my bias wrecker.

Another Girlgroup is Mamamoo. for them I would suggest checking out Gogobebe, 1cm teller than you, Egotistic and sleeping in my car. All really good songs. And Boy groups I would suggest BTS (i would say start with "Mic Drop"), Seventeen (start with "Getting Closer" and "I don't want to cry" and go for their Dance practices vs the MVs cause their choreography is amazing), Got7, and BigBang.
