having GRRM say "take your time" in the thumbnail is diabolical
Don’t know if you’ll see this, but I have a “WHAT IF” suggestion for you: What if Ned Stark called his banners and marched beyond the wall to deal with Mance raider and the wildlings? There’s two versions you could do. One with just the northerns with Ned and one where Ned asks Robert to join him while Robert is at winterfell (asking Ned to be his hand).
DFTBA!! I wish one of the Greens would have replied, you'd probably have to email their advice pod 😅
I thought of all the bigger authors they might be most likely. Alas, no such luck.
i expect you to follow through and actually write a book now, no procrastinating!
Who knows... maybe there's a future video idea in there somewhere
Here’s, as always, a comment for the algorithm before I even finished watching the video 🧡
0:34 not me instantly thinking about a Taylor Swift song…😂
Well, I'm a writer... I write since I was 8 and I has a book published so, it counts?
And I'm from Costa Rica and sorry for my english, spanish speaker.
So, you write and since when?
If not, I think is better to make short stories first. Make it like a game with yourself. "I want to write in second person" "I want to write humor" "A interesting historical report"... Whatever. It's only to learn to write with fun, freedom. I used to ask for three words and make short stories with that.
I think, seeing the description of your channel, you can start with fanfiction. Good fanfiction can help you to be loyal with the characters and world logic.
It seems you read a lot, and you can feel when its good or not, that is great. You can, little by little, use that sence in you own writing.
