My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first UA-cam channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

I love seeing Mt. Fuji again. Too bad they didn't take you to the base of the Mountain. When I lived there I was able to walk up the trails. It is so beautiful and an unforgettable experience. You need to go back and try it someday. Looking forward to Tokyo's tour tomorrow.
As soon as you pulled up the window curtain I was WOW..!! it's different with yesterday's view which had mist.. I really love the morning scenery of the lake.. the sun ray makes me feel so alive and so full of hope.. I love morning sun shine!!

That sour little plum they said was eaten with rice is called "umeboshi" - it's like a sour, salted pickle-y plum - they also sell umeboshi plum vinegar which is great on veggies and popcorn! - Hope we get a full view of Mt Fuji! 😊

The tuna belly sashimi...the sukiyaki with wagyu beef...the kobe beef steak...the sushi’s.., the ramen soup and many more...oh how i and my grandson enjoyed our food trip in Tokyo
It's all so serene! Even breakfast looks relaxing and you look well rested so I am assuming the bed was comfortable. Did you get to experience the outdoor hot spring or were people around at night ?(I would think some others might wait until the cover of darkness). It all looks awesome, Mikey and Mt Fuji is glorious!
Now I will just wait for RJ to say WOW before believing it is really wow! Kidding, Mikey! haha

Thank you Mikey, RJ, Jeahh, and all! I also think the ambiance is important to food. The aesthetic context in which art (food) is made directly influences that art, so you could argue the environment of Japan is as important to their food as anything else.

Dude, when you making the next Parody? I think you should do one off of Arianna Grande song 'Thank you'. Like "Thank you, next" = "Making eggs" or "Breaking eggs" in the chorus haha! Pretty sure you can come up with some funny lyrics that involves something like "Topsilog" or the likes! Keep up the vLogs my girls enjoy this channel as well as AC!! They are addicted to AC!!
Flew in a small jet from Korea to Japan in 1993. The pilot took us right over Mt. Fuji at 15k feet so we could look into the crater. Once in a lifetime!

@@MikeyBustosVLOGS Well, I think the best is she edits exactly according to your style - the transition between you two was and still is seamless - that's awesome service. And she edits a lot, including doing a lot of work to cut out the many bits we don't need - even the small pauses! So it's all interesting as always! And then also she uses sound very well to enrich the content or add humour, to my mind she does this just like you do. So all in all, I think she's amazing, willing to work to a good result, talented and skillful. And she looks very friendly as well! :P In my work I am very grateful to have people like her on my team and I love them to bits! They make it much easier for everyone!

I went to a traditional Korean spa and sauna in New York and me and my friends tattoos attracted a lot of lingering looks and faces.

Oh wow! I just realised I stayed in the same hotel as you when I visited Japan!
My wife and I have cliimbed Mt Fuji. You can climb all the way to the top and buy some ramen. 3776m in total. Don't forget your canned air and walking stick. It was an epic adventure.

I believe the public baths do not want tattoos because tattoos are associated with the Yakuza (Japanese Mafia)

About the tattoo stuff, you can be mistaken as a member of the Yakuza (Japanese Mafia) or a criminal because of their social stigma about tattoos.
Very true. Some business will even ban you if you have tattoos. I'm surprised a traditional place let him in, some won't. There are some onsens that will let you in with tattoos but its's always best to call ahead and ask.

Ohh, hot springs. I was wondering what kind of ryokan experience would it be without hot springs. Even if it that part hasn't made it to the vlog it surely was nice!
Usually that onsen tamago(hot spring poached egg) they put it on top of white rice together with soy sauce.

Raw foods are actually good for you. Only problem is, if it's not fresh or if it's not prepared properly or if it's from bad stock or stored in dirty conditions, you can have problems.
