Fun fact, this game (specifically the core Meteos gameplay, not Wars specifically) was designed by Masahiro Sakurai himself. I only recently found that out.
@@mariogirl8100 Unfortunately not gonna happen since Q? Entertainment dropped from the face of the earth. It currently now goes by Resonair/Enhance Studios, but they haven’t mentioned Meteos on anything I’ve read about them. Might look deeper later but lord we need more puzzle games besides Puyo and Tetris. I’m so glad even Magical Drop got a 6th game after seven centuries lol.
It's interesting how the Insane AI dies faster as Globin than as any other planet, even Darthvega. Perhaps if it had been programmed to be as pathologically fearful towards tall columns as if it were playing as Darthvega, then maybe it would've had a chance to survive rounds past 2 minutes?
If I recall correctly, Goblin has the quickest annihilation time when compared to all the other planets, once it reaches the top and beeps you HAVE to act quick. Just in my experience, at least.
@@dungeonwallmeat2113 According to the Miraheeze-Meteos Wiki, Darthvega has the shortest overload timer in the game. However, Globin has a small mechanic where it’s overload timer gets *shorter* the longer the match goes on. Becoming shorter than Dartvega’s. There are so many little things in this game like that. Anytime I think I know everything I could without looking at the actual game code, I find out there’s even more extremely specific mechanics and circumstances and I love it.
@@MysteriousMaker1185 I remember struggling against lumious' insane Ai before but after some time I managed to outscore them, you deftinitly got the hand at meteos still ^^
Yeah, Insane AI outright refuses to die from nova, so these battles were very long. Interestingly enough, I managed to kill Globin twice without time running out. 😗 Upon rewatching, it looks like I handled that Hanihula close call very well, considering isolated columns can be unpleasant there. Reflexes are always important in Meteos.
I'm trying to play the game myself but I'm having trouble with the emulator you put in the description. Could you please give some pointers on getting it to work?
You need to buy a sound enhancer, like Dolby Atmos, to get the full experience of this video. Shame too because this guy's videos are the ONLY HD Meteos Wars videos, ever!
Using this to help aid myself in getting better at the game (I am new to it and I did get Wars instead of the DS game purely from my bias of loving the 360 lol). That and this is also the most entertaining thing ever, your skills dear lord- Have any tips for screen clearing? As its something i can’t seem to get right consistently. Also how did you unlock an extra difficulty? I thought wars only had three? What depths of the black market did you go to in order to emulate a 360 game??? /lighthearted
I was really sad that I realized you can only play this game on the 360. I got an Xbox One 2 years ago and I thought that I could download Meteos Wars. I get that you can install 360 games to your xbox one to play them but I can't download Meteos Wars. It's not even in the Microsoft Store except probably 360.
I honestly wish the community for this game was bigger. This game does NOT have enough global attention.

they should re-release this game for PC, heck even android or apple(this game originally on the DS using the stylus touch screen) it would make sense.
Emulation.
They should make another Meteos game for the Switch.

It's eye candy seeing Thirnova and Darthvega spinning like tops.

That Gelyer chaos tho(・_・;)
Honestly I'm just here for the winning an losing animations

How do you pronounce Luna=Luna? I think it's Luna Luna, though it could be different.

Can you buy the game on The Microsoft website with ur Xbox one username and then download it that way, without a 360?
@@reziture idk im gonna try it
@@mfd7 I’m sure you can. I just bought some games on the marketplace website and then was able to download the games once I was home. Hope this helps!
