    Great podcast! So happy you are better Dr. Josh. I sure want to find your story of what happened. I was bedridden from a severe nerve pain spinal injury for 6 weeks post surgery and it was very traumatic. I was sad to hear you went through some major health challenges. Bless you and your family! ❤

    Doesnt giving yourself an enormous amount of conflict consistentyly, eventually give you PTSD / GAD?

      That’s why he’s saying to focus on one thing, one conflict. Too many people see everything in their life as conflict that truly ain’t

      @@tedwilson1477 so he’s saying you are the hero of your own story. You need a conflict or something to pursue to add to your story and to grow you as a person. But he’s saying don’t have a victim mentality and letting every conflict be the reason you don’t succeed. Rather have a growth mindset

      The key to losing a lot of weight is consuming mostly just meat and vegetables for your meals. And moving daily. The more exercise, the better up to two hours, but even if you just go for 20 minute walks 2 to 3 times a day that will really move the needle. I believe you can lose nearly 100 pounds in a year if you’re able to move Daly, get quality sleep, and eat mostly meat and vegetables and drink lots of water.

    Disagree with Donald Miller on the gun controversy. Not everyone who has mental illness are violent and there are people who have NO mental illness that are very violent people. If you don't want mass shootings get rid of the assault weapons that shoot TONS of bullets per minute. Those kinds of weapons belong to the military.

    • @drjoshaxe
      @drjoshaxe  11 місяців тому +11

      I truly believe we should focus on mental health. Stones, knives and guns don’t kill people… people Lill people. The 1st Amendment was created to protect us from a tyrannical government, which we are getting closer to each and every day. It’s a major concern that many people especially in a younger generation believe that free speech and the right to bare arms is not necessary. If you look up the data, every single person that’s done a mass shooting has had a mental illness.

    • @drjoshaxe
      @drjoshaxe  11 місяців тому +3

      Write down what you want in a mentor. Then commit yourself to being humble, hungry and growing. Then start looking for people older or more experienced than you who embody your needs. Have both in-person mentors and people you can glean from virtually. Also, there are mastermind, business, and church groups that might be great places to look!
