Really enjoying the shoe making lessons thus far, very clear, concise and easy to understand. Please don't lose motivation to continue (I'm at a point where I'd like to follow along and there isn't a ton of free literature out there). Great job, and I hope you continue the lesson. Thanks
This has probably been the best guide and online course about the subject of shoemaking i have seen so far! I really don't understand why there aren't more views on this but i hope there will be more Lessons, since i'm really curious and would love to watch the rest! I'm planning to try it myself but would love to have your videos guide me through this :) I hope you will upload the rest soon. Nevertheless, thanks for the knowledge you shared with us so far!
Hello Andrew I’m watching your tutorial on shoe making. Actually I got interested in making ladies sandals did a few lessons. Quiet fascinating. Most of my confidence come on watching the videos.Shall wait to see more videos from you. From Srilanka
@@teslabolt007 I have no idea where to buy lasts in the USA. You can't buy new lasts here in Australia and second hand ones are hard to find. I should have included a section about choosing a last. To measure, wear normal socks and place your foot flat on the ground. Measure the length from heel to big toe, around the balls of your feet (you'll need a fabric tape measure) and from your heel around your instep. Choose a last that matches these dimensions. It's a bit more involved than that, but you get the gist. Email or IG message me if you need more help
cool.. I think it is easier to first wrap the last with aluminium foil and then wrap it with masking tape..when done it is easier to remove the pattern..
you are a very good instructor. I'm enjoying your videos.

Thank you so much. This is awesome ❤
These videos are great. Im going to make a boot with your help sir
Looking forward to the insole and welting section. I’m still unsure how thick the insole needs to be and if I need to skive the edges.
Excellent job on the video production! Looking forward to the next chapter.
Thanks Jeremy, it's good to have you along for the ride
Where do you recommend buying a shoe last? And best method of measuring?
