    Gosh Mal, I just how old the coins are that you find. Here in Los Angeles there isn't a chance of finding coins like that except in a coin store!

      Yep on this permission I have gone back to 60 B.C. on coins and the "Stone Age" on artefacts :)

      Hi Peter, thanks for watching and your comment.
      I use the Equinox for scouting a permission and to find "Hot Spots" then use the GPS on the CTX to record the find spots. Then create a grid to thoroughly go over the area with the CTX and record the GeoHunt to make sure I've covered it. Plus the CTX has superior target separation compared to the Equinox. Also the CTX GPS I use for profiling an area with "Find Points" to see if there are any patterns in the finds like pathways or groupings.
