You can buy literally any kind of fabric on my street. Linen, Cotton, Silk, Wool, Blue Jean Cotton, fine suit fabrics like imported tropical wool ... all here. Just another reason to live in this great city. Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) is just the best!

A lot of my video is shot within 5km of my house in the Tân Phú district of Ho Ci Minh City (Saigon). There is a lot of activity here.
The videos are representative of everyday life and challenges in the city for retired expats. My goal is to help those looking for another life to see what it's like in this wonderful SE Asian country. My hope is that you will visit Vietnam and just maybe you will enjoy it as much as I do. Some of the videos are just for fun, some are about the differences in the cultures.
I will also be adding some videos about my time in other SE Asian countries.

Hundreds of fabric stores there, I didn't even cover 30% of the area in the video.
I enjoyed that very much. The denim store is nice to know. The video quality is super excellent. I enjoyed the guitar piece throughout the video. But now I know where the polkadotted dragon lady gets her material from. 🧵👙🐞

The prices for some jeans are so expensive, it's nice to see quality denim sold there. At least I think it could be quality. Make jeans James and sell them. 👖
You can buy any level of quality material you need in my area. I am going to be shopping for shirt material to take to the tailor in the next few day. A friend of mine bought silk here in Vietnam and had sheets made .... I'd also like to make some curtain material to help with recording sound in my house. Will do that soon too. Thanks for comment.
Not bad! Only took you a year to get out and about. (applause) Now we may see the other Districts in future vids and maybe even a sexy seafood or two if my dreams are answered.
More stuff coming ... it just takes time. Every week work is done on new projects. When we feel they are ready we publish them. Always trying to make interesting vids for all you guys.
I looked the street up on Google maps it is a long street.
And all the businesses are fabric or little restaurants for workers in the area. Our house address is on that street.

The easiest access to the area is Nguyễn Sơn street.
Turn on Phu Tho Hoa from Ngyen Son. In a few blocks, you can turn left on Phu Tho Hoa and enter the fabric district.

Yes, nearly all are open for walk-in or bigger shops for shipping out.

Don't see her anymore. I think her participation in the construction is over. Nice lady. Will miss the fashion statements.
