Hi Jay, We love the content and think you are a great teacher. We are a relatively new maths channel and any tips on how we could improve our content would be much appreciated
1:36 if the highest power of x in the numerator is the same as that in the denominator, would the fraction become improper? Having some trouble understanding how there can be no constant if highest power is x, your help is greatly appreciated!
Because we already know B and C, we want to choose an option that includes A and one of B or C ( or both B and C). There are many options. I could have chosen to look at the coefficients of x....that would give 3 = A + B. If you are not happy with equating coefficients, you could just sub in another value for x...x=1 would be a good one to choose.
@@MathsWithJay because i saw two different answers for this situation, either separate it into two linear terms or keep it as a quadratic term. Is it because it is more convenient to do integration when we separate it into two linear terms?
Hello Jay, please can u stream more like this problem. For ex, make L the subject : L^~64L/2xy+8= cube root (L^-64)^\square root (Lxy+4)^ . Can u help please?
Thanks a lot Jay. I loved it!! You've helped me to solve my misconception.
Great to hear!
Thank you for choosing to solve the hard types
You're welcome!
Thank you Ma'am. It was life-saving
Most welcome 😊
Crystal clear jay! Thank you. You made it easier 🤍
Glad it helped!

Are you planning to include a voiceover?
@@MathsWithJay yes it is something I plan to do
@SB MathsYT....I've just looked at a couple of your recent videos...adding audio is working well
@@MathsWithJay Thank you very much that is much appreciated.

The answer to your question is "yes".
Great video :>
@Zipher: Thank you!
The last part where u had 7=A+C got me confused. Why did u pick just the coefficient of x^2 and A+C leaving the other terms?

Px+q/(s+1) (s+1)
What will be the form
Pls replay 🙏
What have your tried?
My exams are over and I failed
Thanks for your late reply 🙏😒
Thank you❤
You're welcome!
Thank you Sir
Welcome!
should we factorise x^2-3 into (x+sqrt3)(x-sqrt3) first?
No! Why?

Hello thanks for the video. But why did we use x= -1 & x=0 ?
-1 makes x+1=0, and we can't make the other bracket zero with an integer, so 0 is the next best choice
7x^2 + 3x - 14 / (x^2-3)(x+1) aren’t the highest degree of powers in both the numerator and denominator
= 3 , on each side?
therefore making it improper?
The highest degree in the numerator is 2....look at the power in the first term
@@MathsWithJay so we compare only the highest power of any term in the expression? we don’t add the over all powers, right?
Right!
@@MathsWithJay ok, thank you!
thanks jay!

I'm still confused with how you got A=2 😕
At what time in the video?
transpose 5 to get 7-5= A that's why A is equal to 2
Good! I subed
@Lok Ming Tai: Excellent! Thank you!
Thanks

thankyou
