- Ever wondered what the differences are between Cebu med schools? I am joined by my friends from Matias H. Aznar Memorial Medical School and UV Gullas College of Medicine as we talk about the hustles of being a med student in Cebu.

Based on your description of CDU's PBL it sounds like the new approach of many American and Canadian schools which we call Organ(system) approach.
Example:
Renal: from histology, gross anatomy, embryo, physio, path then pharm.
Both traditional and system approach are ok but in my opinion, system(organ) approach is more beneficial because the student can integrate all the subjects which in real medical practice is the case.

hello there! I can speak for CDU and I asked around and those daw with non-pre med courses would have to take pre-requisite subjects. One of my classmates right now took five classes in Bio daw. Hope this helps!
Application period usually starts as early as February to March and ends around July just before classes start.
