      I got an idea for stamina. Just have a different syringe for it instead of burning through health syringe that you are going to need badly after the fact that you are currently flying across the map after an explosion.

    I really want them to add loadouts. Give like 5 presets so we can set them to what kind of match we are going into. It would make it run more smoothly.

      Yeah. Helldivers 1 had loadouts, and at Helldive difficulty I still saw players load them up and switch out one or two things all the time on a whim. I don't think people just stuck to their exact saved loadouts all the time. Would be nice if Helldivers 2 had it, it would be like that too.

      @@cykeok3525 they could be switching bc they see what other people have on their load-outs. I would still like load-outs, to at least have a baseline for what I want for a certain area.

    Id like to see strategem upgrade paths. IE: being able to pick one of two alterations to each strategem that changes an element about it. Want turrets with more ammo? How about turrets that explode when they get destroyed? Earn the currency, purchase the upgrade you want.

      Giving upgrades to strategems is available through the sample upgrades, like the one you suggested 50% more turret ammo

      I feel like they could do a great collab if they could somehow justify it in-lore.

    It would make for some cool gameplay variation (and potentially be fairly easy to implement) to have some big caves (for bug levels) and large warehouses (for automaton levels) on some maps, with objectives inside. Of course, when you are inside/under cover, you totally lose access to all your stratagems which would ordinarily be called in from above, so you'd be left with only your guns, backpacks and grenades for these sections, not be able to call in extra ammo and supplies while you are in there, and have to plan your loadouts accordingly.

      It's a good idea but not sure if white be easy to implement as the game engine is procedural and designed for outside landscapes..

      @@dibidibadibidibou Yeah very true. I guess I meant they wouldn't particularly need to actually add any gameplay elements to make it work, as its about subtracting what you can do, rather than adding to it. In fact, come to think of it, the old game did do something similar. They had towers which would block radio signals and prevent stratagem use within the radius of the towers until you destroyed them. That is probably an easier way to do basically the same thing.

      Personally I would love missions inside enemy spaceships, or protecting your own super destroyer from boarders, Warframe style.

    Hopefully more defense mission types like defend cargo shuttles,refuel ships, bring fortifications up and maybe actually have them help you. Depending on how many you are activate.

    i feel like the whole armor trasmog idea can only work if if still looks the same class, like if you're using heavy armor that looks like light armor your team might not act the same as they would if they knew you were wearing heavy.
    like if I have a heavy teammate I'm a bit slower with my orbitals just to make sure he's out of the way but if he's wearing light I'll just toss them left and right because he almost always get out of the way in time

      Stop playing games if you have no friends. You have much bigger issues in life to tackle, games are for people with a secure work, social and sex life.
      Get all pillars of your life in check and you can come back to gaming... otherwise it's an addiction. I know, I struggled with it too. You can break the cycle. If you're waiting for someone to tell you it's ok to put gaming on hold, consider me him. Take a break, get that social life in check, get your pyhsical health taken care of, get your work life in place, figure out your romantic life; then come back. The Helldivers will be waiting for you.

    Some other stuff I would like to see
    1. A shooting range where not only can you practice your weapons but also see your hud as if you were in an actual mission because with how intense the game is it is very difficult to change settings midgame.
    2. Another idea for requisition usage is for the transmogs to be bought with said currency.
    3. A fps cap it would be very nice for the obvious reasons.
    4. Certain weapons/stratagems are in desperate need for a buff for example the 2 HE barrages which as of the moment are almost useless.
    5. A better tutorial because it teaches you so little and I get that it teaches you very little on purpose but it should at least teach other basic functions like how to use the map and stratagem uses work.
    6. An unstuck button would be very nice because there are many ways to get stuck in places as of now.
    7. More options in the communication wheel and a emote wheel would be nice if added.
    8. Armor needs attention because at the moment armor rating does nothing for us and armor pen is very confusing.
    9. A terminal that would act like a beastiary would be cool because in the first game it kinda helped me get my footing.
    10. More ship name options and putting the current options on both sides of the name also a way to remove of if you want to.
    11. Color changing options for capes, armor, and weapons to some degree because certain items look cool but the color isn't what I would want.
    12. Another way to unlock stuff because as of the moment it feels weird having level not give you cosmetics outside of titles which I believe there need to be more.
    13. A key that goes through other options of stuff to do/grab so that I can grab samples even if my teammates gun is on top of it.
    14. More objectives because defense especially needs more options than escort and eradication ops but more in general would be very nice especially for optionals.
    15. More planet types and points of interest because I feel it is currently lacking.
    16. I want the break action shotgun to something we can have in our loadout.
    17. The ability put bayonets on certain weapons because every second of my life there is some bug trying to turn me into food or automatons cutting me into meat cubes.

      You can always cap your fps using the nvidia control panel in the mean time. You just add helldivers in the programs and set it to what you want. Never used amd but id assume they have their own version of that.

    once they figure out the networking for more server space the one thing id love to see most in this game is a huge pve mode, several helldiver squads vs a crazy bug or bot objective. i feel like a massive scale mode could be even more addicting

      That would be awesome, and tbh I thought it was gonna be like that when I bought it. Something where you have your own squad of 4 helldivers, plus maybe 3 or 4 other squads and you all work together to complete one big objective

    When it comes to converting requisition I think it should be for super credits instead of medals, with an exchange rate of 10,000req to 10sc or less. Warbond medals are already given after matches. SC can already be found in mission along with medals. It'd be nice to have another way to slowly earn SC other than just hunting for it.

      You have to remember super credits are the premium currency and adding that would entirely remove any reason to buy it for real money. Converting it to medals makes more sense but your convertion is also better. 10000 requisition into 1 medal would be perfect. If you are playing on higher difficulties thats about an extra medal a mission.

      @@jamesshorts9655 you can already get as many super credits as you want for free. that conversion rate for medals is also completely retarded, i can easily get more than 5 medals from an easy mission if you do all the side objectives on the map.

      @@countcount150 yes it does. Even though you can find SC in mission. Its in extremely small amounts. Adding a second way to earn them doesn't make sense. Especially since you earn requisition insanely fast on higher difficulties. Being able to convert to medals just makes more sense.

    If you hadn't seen yet, the devs said they will be releasing new biomes, weapons, stratagems, enemy types, objectives and new warbond every second Thursday of each month. Dunno if they meant literally all of those at once each second Thursday, most likely not, but still!

    I'm sure the loadouts will come eventually, it was available in the first game, so it is just a matter of time just like the mechs that are coming.

      Not sure they'll take all the lessons they've learned from their first game. They've removed stratagem duplicates which were quite popular in Helldivers, for example.

    Here is somethings I would like:
    Helmet
    -Have a slot to allow for optic modules
    -Modules - InfraRed/Thermal Imaging. Non-interactable area map (able to detect within a limited radius). Of course there could be more.
    Transmog - ability to change the colour scheme & be able to change the armour abilities (restricted to armor class). I am personally fine with the distinct armor classes and corresponding visuals ( minus the ability to not be able change the colour)

    I don't think they will do anything for solo play. I usually play solo in everything because I have no friends, but once the matchmaking works, grouping with people to complete the COMMUNITY weekly event is the goal, and it's fun. I play everything solo, but this won't hurt to work with others on, that's what it's made to do. Because "a game for everyone is a game for no one".

      This. I'd hate to see the game have a solo mode with gameplay as is. Part of the point of this game is the community aspect and offering an option to drop solo without high skill would break that ethos.
      I think where solo play _could_ thrive is little mini games like the arcade box on ship. Have a time trial mode where you complete missions back at boot camp for prestige. Just keep them separated from the war effort and they'd be great little warm up/cool down activities to practice mechanics.

      This game is awesome solo but it's fundamentally different than coop, you've gotta be a lot more stealthy and conservative as you play, the point is having as little chaos as possible so you don't get overwhelmed, even extractions can be completed 100% in stealth

    More description, YES! Especialy for the support weapons. Like how much in the mag, how much spares will it have? Damage numbers, how many rounds/mag will i get after picking up one supply pack? Numbers, give me MOAR NUMBERS! :)
    Also would be nice to have some sort of a beastiary and maybe some perks with it the more of the enemy you kill

    These are all mostly quality of life changes and although much appreciated i rather have them focus on more important systems that add to the longevity of the game.
    -Weapon balances (some weapons feel way too underpowered)
    -New Weapons/Stratagems/Upgrades (you already said that)
    -A new system that makes requisition useful again in the long run (perhaps some armor slots for more customization or weapon upgrades)
    -A new system that makes samples usefal again in the long run
    -A new system that makes XP useful after you reach lvl 20 (maybe some kinda talent tree or paragon levels, not sure tho)
    -New and larger POIs that change up the gameplay (maybe some giant enemy bases or lairs)
    -New special events that can sometimes occur on normal missions (maybe some unique boss spawn)
    -New mission objectives and game modes
    -Planets with overlapping factions that fight each other
    -Prestige with actually useful (but minor) benefits
    -Some kinda story progression that unlocks new content (less important)
    Thats all i can think of at the moment.
    As far as i know the devs are going to add a new enemy faction and vehicles so i didnt add them to the list.

    Helmet should give buffs, like armor rating, increased sight, integrated scope, night vision or heat vision, wallhack vision for enemies behing small structures, terrain objects.
    Armor should have more traits that can be mixed and matched. For example burn resistance, acid resistance, stagger immunity.
    Cape: increased stealth value, better, fire/acid protection, cold/heat resistance just to name a few.
    Weapons should get perks for killing certain ememies to make them level up.
    Weapons need interchangeable accessories.

    One feature I think would be fun is a pheromone grenade that you could use to lure enemies to certain locations. Probably the best way to do it is to increase the chance of the grenade pulling agro based on an increased distance from a player, so that bugs already near players are harder to shake off, but still allowing the grenade to have some utility, like luring bile titans. The real fun could come from dousing yourself in the stuff and aggroing the whole swarm, using stims to desperately hold out as you pump damage into the middle of the hoard while your teammates finish off the stragglers.
    Of course, once the stim regen runs out, you're likely screwed, but that's just a chance for your friends to call a cluster bomb on your location.

    A few things I'd like to see that are not already mentioned in the video:
    Stratagem customizing. At present we can only get "10% increased cooldown for all orbital stratagems" and the like, which is okay, but I would like to really fine tune that ONE stratagem that I like to use a lot and improve things like the cooldown time, the damage done, the number of shots and so on. Make it a full blown tech tree where every node costs all sorts of different resources, especially Requisition needs to be used for more stuff!
    Weapon customizing. See above.
    Some things to do between missions (for example while we wait for Karl to get back from the head) - DRG has that silly "kick a barrel into a hoop" thing as well as Jetty Boot, a flappy bird inspired minigame. Things like that, but within the theme of the game.
    Maybe even a Pool Table or something. The Physics Engine seems to be good enough for it.
    More capes! In the first game I loved to wear a fairly short one, for... reasons... (Edna Mode says hi.) Why do those not exist in this one anymore?
    Obviously More weapons, more enemy types, more objective types. ... maybe we can even get more types of air support vehicle with certain pros and cons? (Example: Heavy bomber - more shots per stratagem before it needs to return for rearm, but takes longer to turn and deliver the payload once called, And a lighter attack craft with the opposite effects.)
    Maybe even different models of superdestroyer
    ... a diver can dream.

      They keep getting new highs in concurrent players. I think it'll be a bit until the hype dies down before the servers are stable

    I'd like to see the ability to purchase weapon attachments, so that I could have a long-range scope for my Railgun and other little modifications that are equipped on the ship and can then be toggled on or off during a mission from the gun menu.
    Like, maybe a silencer for your sidearms, so you can take out some enemy scouts/sentries without alerting the whole surrounding area of your presence immediately.

    For my own suggestion: An "endless tide" mode as a form of a challenge. Unlike other missions / objective, in this mode, your degree of success is determined by how long you survived. (lore wise, a "you die to delay them" form of mission)

    I have a few suggestions as well, in addition to the ones you've made:
    * mechs and vehicles! They have already teased the mechs in a trailer, but it was awesome to have them in the first game and they NEED to come back.
    * also, a third race of aliens. They are definitely saving those for a future big update.
    On the simpler side of things:
    * weapon upgrades! This could be a nice way to use the Requisition slips. In the original game you didn't have to grind for weapon unlocks, you got them very frequently. This meant you could try them and them you could decide on which ones to upgrade to better suit your playstyle. Same thing goes for stratagems.
    * oh, and an Encyclopedia! The Encyclopedia in Helldivers 1 was such a simple inclusion but it was really good to know the enemy types. In this game it could also be another thing to do, like "kill 200 of these aliens to unlock the next page of lore" or something

    - Helmets and capes should have perks and synergy for wearing a full set, or mixing perks for endless builds to figure out also needs more variety in perks.
    - The progression should be maybe slower or content should drop soon, because it doesn’t take all that much time to get everything.
    - Weapons and stratagems need a lot of balancing and strengths that make sense, pretty much all of it. Otherwise there is no reason to ever use the non meta things. For instance, the Breaker incendiary variant or Spray and Pray, the Slugger vs the base pump action, the armor penetration and explosive variants of the Liberator should be sub upgrades rather than separate things, and have different strengths regarding fighting bugs, bots, and actually do what it says regarding penetration or damage output against swarms or heavies. The .50 BMG rifle is useless aside from doing that « kill 60 enemies with it » task (btw, how long do I have to wait for a new task like that?), the flamethrower or arc rifle too. What’s the point? Why not make incendiary mines a sub variant of the mine stratagem or direct upgrade? Gas? Smoke? Armor piercing anti tank mines?
    - Need presets badly indeed.
    - Skipping end mission cutscenes too. The reward and mission summary should happen during the victory pose scene to make things shorter and more efficient.
    - Give something funny and maybe useful to do onboard the ship aside the Stratagem Hero game. Like being able to try out weapons (including non unlocked ones) in a shooting range against a captured bug or bot or a marksmanship challenge against friends. For training and democratic purposes only of course.
    The game is still in its early days but aside various issues (crashes and glitches), it has great potential but some game design problems regarding the balancing of weapons and integration of perks or elemental effectiveness to both weapons and stratagems, progression/grinding loop.

    Step 1. Fix the servers so people can play.
    Step 2. Add things to unlock past level 20. Once you hit that level and have everything unlocked, the desire to grind falls off hard!

    I would love to see more crew served weapons. Working with a buddy to put down obscene levels of firepower downrange is always so satisfying. I would really love to see a crew served machine gun. Take some inspiration from real world machine gun teams and give it 1,000+ rounds while your A-gunner is attached with no reloads, and instead, your A-gunner is there to swap out barrels when they overheat, letting you put down constant covering fire.
    Also, for the excess requisition points, They could add decorations, or customization options for your diver and ship to let you burn through them. Another option would be to let you spend them on temporary boosters for a single mission. Make them 3,000-10,000 or so, and let us do cool stuff, like make the first bombardment of a mission not put our strategem on cooldown, or dive with a support weapon.
    Another thing that would be amazing, but is probably not gonna happen would be if we could play on larger maps with more people. Imagine the chaos that two, three, or even four squads of helldivers could unleash

    What I think would be really cool, for future updates ofc, that you can "pilot" different space ships. Right now, we all have a super destroyer capable of launching many ordinance weapons (our stratagems). But I think it would be really awesome if taking a different ship would mean a new set of stratagems only avaliable to that ship. So, for instance, the super carrier which has stratagems linked to it with eagle support, but also the ability to drop mech suits (hinted at allready), maybe tanks or bikes. Or the Super frigate with a different set of devestation to launch upon the enemies of democracy.
    This would give people a new way to spend the samples since the new ship will need upgrades as well, a new way to spend requisition (especially if buying a new ship costs 50K) and more difficult decisions in what loadout people take with them. Since a single person will not be able to take stuff from two different ships.

    Really cool weapon ideas
    1, a moveable moral banner , that you can place down and use two hands , or walk around with , boost to all stats while in the “circle”.
    2, stasis field grenades

    1 Green Light for Turret/Placement stratagems.
    2 Ability to change armor/Weapon colors (don't much care for orange on armor or weapons)
    3 Ability to see how many SC/Medals you have gained in the mission.
    4 Improvements to weapons like the Revolver and Spray & Pray
    (Slug shotty also should be medium pen, but somehow has same pen value as buckshot)

    I'd like to see a progression system that you unlock bonuses for your character - increased reload speed, increased stamina regen, increased health, perhaps weapon progression as well where you gain XP with a weapon as you use it. Giving you bonuses when you use that specific weapon.
    The catch - it resets this progress when you die, incentivizing trying to keep your Helldiver alive. Balancing the system where dying and losing progress doesn't feel absolutely terrible and such - I think it would be a fun thing to chase, and rewards those who play smart.

    - They should add a few missions in upcoming campaigns that specifically limit play to 1 or 2 people. Probably hard to properly balance existing ones for solo play without breaking the game, but designing a few from ground up would be great.
    - Re balancing rewards is probably going to be needed. Otherwise people will keep grinding the same 2 or 3 faster missions that can be done in 5 min vs those that take 15 min or more.
    - There should be at least some reward for just participating in a mission. Spending 30 or 40 minuets struggling through a difficult mission, especially with useless Randoms that may or may not quit sucks, if you don't actually complete any objectives.
    - They need to add in cosmetic options for other areas of the game. ship social areas, special hell pod effects, different visuals on your stratagems etc. If you want to keep community engaged, having a social area on your ship where you can mount the head of a charger you purchased would keep people happily grinding forever.
    - add clan / team functions. They tie some social, communication, chat, grouping options to it. Possibly eventually some leaderboards for contribution to liberation progress.

    Happy to hear you put a lot of focus on Solo Play. One of the reason why I couldn't get too much into the first one due to extreme difficulty on higher level was I had to play with people to make those missions work, but had few who played after all these years.
    However on that note:
    Having a peer to peer server system for LOCAL play should be implemented. Or LAN mode. This would eliminate the need for server side issues for those who want to play with people at home or with someone nearby.

    There's some shot down Pelicans around maps. Would be really cool if on higher difficulties your Pelican got shot or swatted down by bots or bugs - having to go straight into a hold out style mission with whatever loadout you had previously for bonus rewards while a second Pelican is sent.

    There are two things i would love to see.
    1.- The imolementation of a more functional stealth system (hiding in bushes, losing aggro, the ability to cause distractions, last known locations, etc)
    2.- In the future they could add bigger missions were there could be 2 or 3 more squads in a bigger map and they can complete different tasks separately or join and steamroll through the map with the dangers of friendly fire. (Think of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 Coop missions)

      As for 1. Yeah you can distract enemies with turrets or call ins, break line of sight via cover or smoke and the enemies will go for your last known location, hunt around a bit and then give up. Bushes don't hide you, but the little ground smoke things work like regular smoke to break LoS.
      2. I love the idea of a bigger mission with multiple squads on map, but I suspect there are technical reasons why it wouldn't work. Maybe a sort of 'combined operation' where the missions in an operation can be completed by multiple squads simultaneously could be done?

      @@Sorain1 I feel like calling in turrets or orbitals always give out your location. Yes, enemies will target turrets first but after that they will now where to find you next, they don´t look disoriented or start patrolling/searching so thats kind of what i mean. Hiding in bushes would be awesome for solo play where you can just crawl from one bush to another hiding form patrols and picking your fights more carefully or even planning out more elaborate ambushes, it would be even a greater incentive to play night time missions too. Im not a programmer and i dont know squat about that profession but i can only hope that with the great future this game has maybe someday it will be a possibility. I had so much fun with Ghost Recon AW2 missions and haven´t seen anything like it since then. Those were brutal in difficulty too! 16 people fighting for different objectives at the same time, trying to coordinate and communicate, it was so hectic and chaotic but amazing at the same time!

    My first thought for the score screen was also considering it was hiding the loading screen. However, loading the ship is generally much faster than the score screen covers. I think they can certainly speed up the score screen at least.
    Also, as a HD1 vet. More stratagems are coming, confirmed are mech stratagems that we had last game. I'm looking forward to my favorite enemy to fight coming into the game but I haven't seen any information on when they plan on introducing them yet.

    As a note to help with your solo recording, if you go into steam and set it to display you as offline or to prevent what game you are playing from showing, even friends can't join without an invite. I'm not sure if this functions the same for people you have friended via the in game social menu, or how it works on PS5.

    Similar to the first suggestion, I’d really like to see colour palettes introduced for the armour and weapons.
    Sometimes there are pieces of armour that look cool on their own, but when paired together they can really clash with one another due to the colours.

    They should allow us to use the recreations that we get from each mission to purchase attachments for our weapons like change the ammo typing or equip a laser that’s high-powered for tighter spread, but enemies can see the laser. And if you get the heavier ammo for more damage, it increases the recoil, so you buy a grip to reduce the recoil.

      @@arnerippey3677 sorry it took me so long to see this comment. not necessarily because of how many different ammo typing we have in real life like blackout, hollow point, high grain, low grain, FMJ, light armor piercing, heavy armor piercing, all types of ammo :D. Like what they could do if they do implement different ammo type variance in the game(just an idea) they could give the standard “liberator” its own tree of different ammo types and the “liberator penetrator” different type of ammo that is specifically only to that gun, basically keeping each gun, feeling unique and still keeping them viable. What I think would be cool is if they give the liberator penetrator high grain Heavy armor piercing explosive rounds just make it nasty lol

    I’d love to see customisation around your ship:
    Different ship models altogether. Different colours and decals for each ship. Different ships could bring unique stratagems.
    Would be cool if you could “fire and hire” different people on your ship, would be cool to be able to switch form a super serious personality to having someone a bit silly or goofy on board. Different people could also come with different stratagems or other buff types.
    A captains room onboard would be awesome. Selectable from a few different templates and with further customisation through props and trophies would be amazing.
    I know these aren’t necessarily core gameplay features but it’s always the flavour stuff that makes the in game world feel more loved in and magical.

      Long term I’d love to see some kind of galactic player hub, whether that’s on super earth or an orbital station. They could have cool carnival games like a BB gun shooting pop up bug targets. 4 players. Carnival token rewards that can buy special cosmetic items and ship decorations.

    I could imagine them adding experiment weapons, that only last for 1 mission and cost requisition. This would also allow them to test, new weapons, before adding them as normal weapons. And we get to spend requisition. This could also work on the other resources and equipment. And if they made a over powerful tool, they can just claim "it cost to much for super earth to put it into production".

    I would love if the interactibles that they are using to describe lore were used more functionally. Like giving clues about where the Supersamples are located on some of the harder missions ("My brother and I were playing east of here when we found these silver minerals" etc.), and in future, it would be awesome if they were able to be used to point to a super-secret enemy type, like a Brain Bug from Starhip Troopers, and if you manage to kill it, it would help the community progress the war effort quicker in addition to doubling your rewards for that mission.

    Thanks for making this video! I personally agree the game has places to improve. Its great it is getting so much positive feedback, but some places to improve would be great. I agree with all of your points, I would add to aim for a new strategem for each level up. A ton of stategems unlock at level 20, but the levels before hand are bare, so spacing things out more would be nice and encrouage that one more level mentality.

    Another issue with having full health and stims is that there is a debuff in the game that will prevent stamina regeneration until you use a stim. It even puts up a prompt to use it but if you're at full health you have to intentionally take damage

    Personally, I'd love to see Helmets get some variation in stats/perks, as they're all effectively the same atm.
    I think the Scout perk would be perfect to switch to a Helmet perk- and add other perks that add benefits (such as one that automatically pings big enemies like Chargers or Hulks) that are more related to visibility and whatnot (perhaps a perk that shows enemy health or highlights weakspots). I think there's a lot of room to make the helmets as mechanically interesting and meaningful as the armor.

    I think when it comes to Strategems we'll be seeing them added over time, like Mechs and vehicles because they WERE a thing in HD1 but between HD1 and 2 the Helldiver program was essentially disbanded and defunded so LORE WISE it makes sense some old stuff isn't here right now. (100% probably to keep dev time realistic.) But yeah, would love to see more of these myself and some NEW ones not just returning ones.

    I would personally like planets that maybe have a mixture of enemy types. Like if both Automatons and Terminids invaded a planet at the same time. See a little bit of hostility between the two and having to fight both at the same time would add a whole new dynamic.

    A better solution to solo play would be the Sanctum 2 approach. Give solo players 2-4 extra Strategems, 1 extra Boost slot and 5 more Reinforcements. Take those away and pause them when other players join, then resume them if the player ends up being solo again. The primary issue that a solo player is losing out on over even a duo is flexibility. So many choices go to mandatory non-options that the player just doesn't get to DO anything fun solo.

    I would love to have more tools at the strategy table. For example to plot routes with multiple stops. Also your pin should not disappear when you die. And maybe main objectives should always be visible on your compass.

    I would like more side objectives to have an impact on the mission. Currently we have radar and artillery which are super useful to complete, but pod data, illegal broadcast, and rogue station for example do not affect the mission. What if pod data highlighted sample locations on the map? I'm sure they can come up with interesting ideas for this. Terminids have spores and stalker lairs while Automatons have anti-air and jammers which feel very rewarding to complete as they throw a curveball in your mission that make them almost mandatory to get rid off to progress smoothly.

    (server stability, matchmaking stability, server capacity are all top priority) But wishful thinking list, Load Outs, Different ammo types (let us spend money on better ammo) Rank based mission requirements ie after level 20 new mission types unlock since you "have access to everything". More daily/weekly missions. And i'd love to see like campaign ribbons for system liberation/defense Just something to show where you've been deployed and what you've contributed to.

    I would like to change weapons while in the loadout/Stratagem selection screen.
    Sometimes you pick a weapon for bugs, and didnt notice that your friend selected bots. Then you have to go out of the capsule, back to the loadout terminal, select the right weapon for the job and go back in. Could be way easier with weapon selection in the capsule.

      You can do this currently. There should be a prompt while picking your stratagems (currently square/X/reload on controller) that switches to weapons and armour loadout. It's also super useful when you drop into a game an instantly go into your drop pod without breaking flow for the rest of the squad!

    Bit of a weird one and might be immersion breaking but making lmg's stop using ammo when you're dumping into a tide of mobs and your character starts whooping. Would be fun to lean into the ridiculousness of it. Silly idea but I think it'd be fun in those specific moments

    Another thing I absolutely despise are the mechanics for enemies calling for reinforcements (Breaches and Bot Drops). Enemies do not give you enough time nor indication that they're going to do it, and _ANY_ enemy can do it so you can't pinpoint them and take them out early. Even if you do manage to take them out before they can call anything, another enemy will just take their place and call reinforcements anyway, so there's nothing you can really do about that. I want them to either make a new enemy type for each faction that's a high-priority target and that type will be the only one that calls for help, or make it so that if you manage to kill the current calling enemy, another one from the same patrol can't do so until a certain hidden timer is finished, or just make it clearer when enemies are about to call reinforcement so you have more of an indication

    I'd prefer if the stratagems the player could equip could have an extra one added every fifteen or ten ranks after level 20 so when you're max rank, you could have six or seven stratagems available to you.
    In regards to the currency, allow the player to exchange requisition points for samples. Or allow players to buy/sell them to other players with the costs determined by Super Earth as a controlled economy sounds like something Super Earth citizens would praise.

    for requisitions, i think like buying armor recolors and maybe patterns, texture, maybe even decals to make armor personalization options. i feel like this game can take inspiration from "For Honor" for the DRIP department. maybe not to a tee but give us options to spice up our bois and not rely on set pieces to look cohesive. i just want my helldivers to look they way i want them and look badass laying on the dirt with all their limbs gone being bombarded by a 380MM HE barrage.

    I don't support Ai players, but I do support easier stratagems when you're solo, as someone who is sick of restarting to re-join matchmaking I already solo at difficulty 6, I just avoid most patrols instead of blowing them away and try to save my airstrikes for bigger outposts and when I'm running for my life
    honestly railgun and jetpack is so underrated because you can get on top of things and buy yourself some call in time while still being able to tackle armoured targets, but if I didn't need to be prone on a buildings roof to call down the thunder I'd 100% be taking an autocannon and light armour instead for the ranged bug hole clearing and speed boost so I could just ignore most enemies
    also a light armour with extra grenades would be clutch for solo, at the moment Ive only seen it on medium and heavy armour

    More uses for requisition and weapon balance (which I don't think you touched on) are the two most important things in my opinion. The regular Breaker is the best weapon right now, and it's not even close. The Liberator is also good for bots, and other weapons can of course also do the job, but so many are just worthless right now.
    Pure quality of life changes like the completion screen and loadouts would be nice, but not as high prio as req and weapon balance.

    you can solo certain helldive missions relatively easily, destroying bug holes/fabricator missions aswell as destroy eggs are 100% do able, extracting is another story tho

    I want them to further diversify and make different the strategies you must use against the races of enemy. Add specifically anti bug weapons and specific anti bot weapons.

      Well, in my opinion incendiary weapons and lasers should always be good against bugs and electrical or EMS good against bots. Would make the arc thrower, tesla thing, the other energy based rifles, smoke (although I never tried it and saw no one use it) and EMS worth it for bots specifically. At the moment it doesn’t seem like elemental effects to be important. There is a lack of possibilities regarding builds, people are just going to meta Breaker + orbital laser + railgun + other stratagems and totally disregard the other weapons because it’s inferior and no different builds can be made around it.

    I think a lot of the way some things work have had a lot of thought put into them. Most of your suggestions ether wouldn't work or they have a reason why they wouldn't do that. For example, the stims when you aren't damaged this would be broken, if you didn't realise the stims make you pretty much invincible for a set time and seeing how there is armour that lets you hold six and doubles that time and add an ammon back pack and that ether 8 or 12 more stims more would just give you god mode with full stamina. It would be better than a shield. Better improvements would be things like Host migration, nothing worst than spending over half an hour in a mission for the host to DC and kicks everyone. Footsteps sounds for some of the medium and large backs that somehow soiled snake us. But I think the Devs have e a lot more to deal with ATM.

    Love the Video Dom, I would love to see more Urban environments, like abandoned cities or towns.

    The enemy location one i personally feel like even on the red planet it was easy to spot em all

    I know the whole point of helldivers is the squad tactics and teamwork, but it would be awesome if we had something on the level of wow raids, 5 squads 2 custom made map for a galactic conquest, taking the fight outside of the area that is controlled by the super earth federation.

    Updates to some of the strategems would be nice. the barrages could use an upgrade that allows for better targeting.

    I'd like to see some city maps, suburbs, and large farm maps.
