This is perhaps my favorite Avengers episode. Emma with her back against the wall, Steed (limping) to the rescue! And then, that ending. The look she gives Steed as she extends her hand, it would melt a heart of stone.
It is just remarkable that 50 years later these shows play as fresh and original as when they were first broadcast......Mrs. Peel were are surely needed.
@@francishruszka877 She was the best and most beautiful to me. The only one compared to her now is Ana de Armas. But Diana would still be my favorite if she was young and alive today.
Indeed. I've been infatuated with her my entire life. No woman on earth has captivated me more. RIP Diana. Even though we never met, I miss you terribly.
"Ona Monsey-Chamberlain. Monsey hyphen Chamberlain. Monsey was a pirate. We've had them all in our family...pirates...bishops...judges.... But we've never had... a murderer."
Very nicely done! The edits were well composed, the music is awesome (of course!), & the judicious use of dialogue is not intrusive, but adds to the enjoyment of the piece overall. Did you know that the exact same song, "Mein Liebling, Mein Rose", was also released by Laurie Johnson as a straight instrumental without the vocal? I like both versions myself, but the song with the lyrics, as heard in the episode, works best for your video tribute. Great job!
The memorable main theme was repurposed by Laurie Johnson as a library cue entitled "Lonely Stranger." It been frequently used in the animated series "SpongeBob SquarePants"! ua-cam.com/video/gQjcFOUvF0I/v-deo.html
The singer tried to sound german, but he failed to articulate the "ö" in "schöne Rose" (=beautifull rose)and sang instead "schone Rose" (already rose)...and that makes no sense.
This is my favorite of the 51 Diana Rigg episodes. Just great!

The Joker, Dead Man's Treasure, Murdersville and You Have Just Been Murdered are my top 4
Een knappe vrouw. Prachtig van een mens. Ze heeft in mijn kinder jaren. Mijn hart gestolen. Waar is die goeie mooie tijd.

Uuuuh, what an awful german grammer - as far as I know the lyrics where left out in the german dubbing and that was the right decision.
The singer tried to sound german, but he failed to articulate the "ö" in "schöne Rose" (=beautifull rose)and sang instead "schone Rose" (already rose)...and that makes no sense.
I love it, due to the fact it has become iconic. Creeped me out when I heard it way back when
