Great video Marty! Big trips are fun but they keep your dopamine baseline up so high that it gets addicting and it’s what leads people to skydiving and extreme sports. Having a nice overnighter is the best way to reboot, especially with family and good music!👏

Well said, looks like a great time! This is some motivation to get my stuff organized to be ready for quick random overnight trips. A short day hike can easily turn into an easy overnight without too much thought.

Good video! finding out you got all sorts of talents! brining the 6 string out! Your lady has some pipes on her too! I mostly just get day trips and over nighters myself, with work and fam... Those little trips are just enough to shake off some stress and get a fresh start come monday.

Wow ! What a perfect short trip ,jam packed with great family moments ❤. All I could think of during that evening song fest was that I would have loved to be on the other side of that bay,looking over and seeing a campfire 🔥 flickering in the distance and then hearing those fantastic voices echoing over the water,,,just typing this and thinking about it again gives me the chills 😊😊🤗

It's amazing how much joy and peace just an overnighter can bring. I tend to think it's not worth the trouble to get out there, but once you do it really is.
Noticed you using an Amok and had a quick question. Was just curious how tall you were and what size Amok you got? I really want to try one next year and I'm leaning towards the standard because I like the idea of being able to try other pads in it, but I'm technically over the 180cm recommendation by a few cm and don't want to have it throw off how I sleep in it.
