I love watching as you puzzle out the beginning of your journal. When I start a journal, usually after I find papers I love. I find everything I own that might go with the theme. I get overwhelmed and put it all in a tote for a couple of day. By the time I look at again, i can sort out what I want to use. I have the beginnings of a plan and the journal happens from there.
This is brilliant because what you do best is show us how you do what you do. I love, love the seaside book. You find the best books. This is going to be amazing and I'm so excited for the process. XO

My brain seems to work like yours Carol. I’m also all over the place once I find and print my images and everything sort of evolves from there. Carol I love sea themed journals anytime of year, I live near the sea and all the seasons have their moods over the ocean but we are heading towards Summer in Tasmania, still pretty cold right now though. Another beautiful creation.😊❤
Gosh Carol I just remembered I had purchased Sam's kits when you did the By the Sea journal along with the Paper Cameo kits. I forgot all about making a seaside journal! Now it's gonna be holidays and family gatherings which always seem to happen at our house which is good but just lots of keeping up with the housework you know. Not to mention the baking and cooking. I do need to get some Christmas crafting done too. It's good to be busy and have something good to look to....especially when the world is in such chaos. @amykaedesigns hi, what a coincidence! They are fab kits. My ruler is a quilting ruler (I quilt too) mine is by Creative Grids, but there are lots of makes. It's the one thing I would not be without. Mine measures 12.5 x 8.5 xx

I absolutely love your videos and frankly could just sit and watch all day 😬 when the lady in the red swimsuit fell out, I thought she was meant to be and looks great pointing at whatever - 2 questions please - you said you stencilled with ink on the cd cover, was the pattern on the back also stencil and ink or just someone with an amazing ability to tea/coffee die using a stencil? It looks amazing AND the pages from the beach book you are using - were you lucky enough to find pages in the book that had a back and front picture that fit the journal OR have you glued 2 seperate pictures together to create the front and back side of a page ? I hope I explained that ok - I also have a fabulous book with images but none of them are in the right place, back and front - I’m wondering how you did it - this is also a lovely kit and no matter what kit/style you do, they always look lovely
@cyndiibbotson758 OK, the pattern on the cd back was coffee dyed using a plastic stencil. The book does have some images front and back - what a surprise that was! Hope this helps xx
@@carollaws838 and that is another reason why you are fabulous and have many loyal subscribers - because you take the time - I have asked you various things over the years and you always replied and THE most useful response was how to seperate Peter Rabbit pages in the small books to spread them through a journal so you can read them - I printed that out and still refer back to it today - I have made many journals with the story idea intact because of your advice 🙏🏻👍🏻 and my friends have loved them
