Bill Evans take music to a new dimension. He created a music new to the world and his legacy is a great gift to the world! He deserve a place among Bach Mozart and Chopin and othe great in the music world!
I so adore Evans and particularly this song. Interesting as he aged he sat up more at the piano and appeared more self confident than those early videos where he was collapsed over the piano keys. I'm anxious to find more versions of this. I just saw the DVD Bill Evans Live '64 - 75" with Eddie Gomez on bass (genius) and had to look for Up With The Lark on You Tube.
