Another good reason to be excited for March 29-31st.
Aaron Ehasz responded to someone on Twitter who asked if the panel would give the release date, he said he hopes so but no promises. So either he wants to surprise us by being intentionally vague, or even he doesn’t know when it’s releasing! If it’s the later, I’m guessing it has more to do with Netflix giving them trouble over the darker tone.

@@hannahburke7328 The delay could also be a result of production taker longer than anticipated. Maybe the final episode of season six is going be an hour long event. Or they want to wait until season 7 is close to finished so that they can air closer together. That might make sense with the darker more mature tone.
Disney did the same thing with the Amphibia season 2 finale, since it ended with a character appearing to have been killed, so Disney wanted to make sure that the season 3 trailer was ready to air immediately after so that the kids watching would know that character was still alive. If season 6 ends on a cliff hanger, Netflix might want to have something similar, while also figuring out how to advertise it. Maybe adding a disclaimer to the beginning of the trailer telling kids to watch this season with a parent.
I don’t think it was the writers or actors strikes since season 7 was fully storyboarded back in 2022, meaning the scripts are already done and the actors finished recording months ago.
I’m just so excited! Especially with this promised darker tone, and the mention of “family trauma”. I think we’re going to see exactly what Viren did to save Soren as a child and why he put Kpp’ar in the coin. What if it’s revealed that Viren and Lisa’s child actually died, and the Soren we know is a copy of their original child (as an owl house fan would put it, Soren is a grimwalker). That would explain why Lissa left for all these years, as it might have been traumatizing to see a clone of your dead child walking around, and Viren pressured her to be quiet about it!
