THE ENIGMA OF KARMA AND AGEING
There was once a lazy king who was very scared of dying. He wanted to live long to enjoy the world. Keeping this in mind he called for an ‘Old Man’s Conclave’ to understand what all was needed for a long life. He sent his horsemen in all directions to invite old people to understand from them the secret of a long life.
He was expecting a good number of participants in the Conclave on that day and was excited that he would soon get to hear from the horse’s mouth the prescription for a long life. The king had not invited any healer (doctor) to the conclave because he often used to interact with them locally and was aware of their routine prescription for a long life.
