We'll be going over some fundamentals and techniques that YOU need to know in order to understand his haircut and maybe even get this hairstyle for yourself at home! And most importantly... I'll be telling you WHAT TO TELL YOUR BARBER if you're thinking of going and getting this haircut!

@@rigleymiller8937 if you perm it while it is medium/short and grow it out it will modt likely grow into this style, my hair is wavy/straight when short but when it grows it curls so it depends as well
I’ve been told I look like Mendes haha I wanted straight hair years ago but slightly wavy dark hair like me and Mendes have is the way to go!

Thank you for this video. I already have the same length of his hair, the only thing I was really struggling with was styling it because my hair is definitely way more curly than his. I use shea moisture products as well as moroccan oil. I definitely recommend those products
Which products exactly do you use?
@@VuezWeb Shea moisture curl &shine coconut hibiscus shampoo and conditioner. Then for styling I use Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie as well as eco styler krystal gel. Lastly, once my hair dries I'll scrunch it with Moroccan oil. I have 3b/3c hair btw.

my hair is like shawn mendes but a little bit shorter but it gets so frizzy on the sides that it doesn’t even look curly on the sides anymore, how do I fix that
I use curl creams that also have frizz taming aspects but it just doesn’t help, I live in florida which could affect that because of the humidity. But specifically what products do you recommend.
Watch my video on blow drying with a round brush... if I’m imagining your situation right it’s probably a good place to start! Gotta smooth down the frizz however you can, THEN lock in the curls with some curl creme

Well i do have same hair as Shawn mendes, meaning, texture, density and curls. Even the length is same. But these hair products are not available in my country, Pakistan! So how can i know what will suite me if i m going for this specific style.

HAHA wish I could help man but I live in a different country 😂 but word of mouth is usually the way to go so start asking around! and PRO TIP: If you see someone IRL with a hairstyle you like, ask them exactly where they got it cut! Easiest way to know that the person knows how to give you a cut is if you’ve seen them do it on someone else
