I wanted to know how to install zorin while keeping another linux installed, but I didn't had to do manual partitioning or any complex stuff, during the installation it gave me the option to keep the other linux and even control the disk space with just the mouse, very practical, good job developers 👏🏻
Installation is completed but when I restart my system it says "no partitions" error, but when I go to boot setting I can see one option for "Ubuntu" Under UEFI section and when I select "Ubuntu" Option I can open able to log in and use my system. My question is why cannot I directly navigate to login screen on system restart. Please help (Edited) Found a solution for this and root cause for this problem was under boot list option by default system had selected "legacy external device" instead of "UEFI", if anyone is facing same issue please try below steps 1. Once OS is successful installation 2. Restart system 3. Go to bios setup 4. Expand general and select boot sequence option 5. Then under boot list option select " UEFI" 6. Apply the changes 7. And restart your system
I want to manually partition a 500G SSD into three equal parts BEFORE installing anything. THEN install Zorin into ONE of the three partitions and use the other 2 for storage not on the OS Drive. There's nothing anywhere that outlines how to do this that I have found yet.
I got a partition on my pc. C drive and D drive. Windows is installed in C drive while D drive is for other files. I want to use zorin os and want to install it without deleting my file on D drive. Is it possible to delete windows os in c drive and install zorin os in it without deleting the files in D partition?
Hello bro... I could finally install zorin os and it has been almost half a year but unfortunately I couldn't find the way to do like that. All I could do was to backup all my files in my drive and install the zorin os. In the process all the files got deleted. However, I got the files backed up and zorin os is a good os too. I enjoy
@@TechSolutionz thanks i ended up "trying zorin os" and then uninstalled grub with a specical commands from a ytb video and the reinstalling grub. Then it worked installing without grub issue

why err creating partition file
is your selected disk good enough ? do you have proper free space in it ? are you creating Correct Partitions [ UEFI /BIOS ] [ GPT or MBR } ?
@@TechSolutionz yes installation all works but den grub install error and when i try launching it it opens grub rescue
@@TechSolutionz I have selected mbr but I can't seem to find the efl system partition.....what should I select
EFI will be there in GPT. For MBR you don't need an EFI Boot Partition.
