Bright Chimezie - Because of English

- This is Bright Chimezie's latest release. The guy is still himself with his trademark dancing moves. Through this album, he really showed he is still the Bright Chimezie of the 80s. His songs are evergreen. Please enjoy, and do leave a comment
Well I dunno .. I'm one Oyibo who had the honour and pleasure to be pulled up by Bright to dance with him in front of an audience of Nigerians. I organised the NIAC celebration concert in Port Harcourt (I think it was around 1996) .. we had a great time.
Onyeocha bia ala igbo
Welcome Oyibo❤
Good
Bravo
Why were you there??? 👀😐
Spam L Oyinbo in the chat...

I'm with you.
Yeah
It's very pertinent that once in a while we refresh back to old schools songs to really get what music is all about. Music is a way of life and if you allow this type of musics to get into you; you will be free like the bird. Love from Cypru 2020
I come on here often to listen to (Sir Bright Chimezie's)his songs reminds me of my late dad...My dad fed us with his songs when we were very young and we grew up listen to these genre of music

Na me because of English 😂😂
Igbo kwenu. our language, our pride. learn English very very well but never never forget our Igbo language. it is our identity. teach your kids Igbo no matter how small or difficult it may seem.
something happened yesterday horrible advice. In your advice you make English to be more important than Igbo.
Something happened yesterday, agreed. My kids are beginning to realize that now.

Watching from USA . Bright Chimezie and his Zigima sound. Fine man with swagger.
OMG, this sounds so much like calypso music from Trinidad 🇹🇹 and Tobago.
Same people.
What will our lost brothers and sisters who were displaced several hundred years ago not do to have their own language? They hate us with a passion cause they feel we sold them. Yet we deprive our selves the right and priviledge of our own heritage, of which language is the key. How can anyone not be able to say to one's own child in a mixed crowd bia kwala nwam, gee nti(Come here my child;listen) When one dials 1-800-the lost, the Igbos will surely answer cause we are truly the LOST. Help Lord!
I’m here because of engilishhh!😁
Zigima Master! Living Legend!
God please bless igbos for us
Amen
God have already bless Igbos and he will continue
AMEN

Bright you are too much
Our language and tradition must be secure... Africans wake up
the decay in moral decadence that has engulfed the lyrical message of Nigeria music as a form of the arts in the past 15years since the rise of the pseudo-american african music is quite unprecedented. only if such sound songs can still come back to mainstream media. its well. God help the children that grow up under Wizkid and Davido.
but still in this new wave , there's still artiste with conscious , and moral messages .. but they cant gain commercial success , if they don't dumb their message down
+vino123ization the children that grow up under Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa etc they'll all die!
I tell you nothing to learn from music anymore this generation is really in trouble
He's really a great man indeed, my grandma never plays with this music, she always happy when ever she listens to it, and me to happy to listen to my country man's music.. He's a star!!

Bright Chimezie, each time I listen to your musics, I always remember my late uncle (who was serving in umuahia as an Immigration officer before his untimely death), he never joked with your musics via his double deck Trident cassette player. you are a legend, more grease to your elbow.

I forever heart you Sir. . You are still the best
Wonderful music 😍
Some parent will make their kids speak English at home and school for them to be different from poor kids but when they travel to England or America they will find out that they can not really speak English like the Americans and English people and they may not even know how to speak their native language
Rubbish talk. Get your facts right.
bush jenkins we speak academic English even more than the British but their accent is more thrilling than ours that is just the only thing
I was born in Nigeria , I know a lot of Nigerians that don't speak Igbo to thier kids instead they wanted them to speak English because they are ashamed of our language and they grow up and not knowing how to Igbo , this is sad
bush jenkins you are right bro
Jenkins You are correct
11/4/2019 im here to smile...
Still on English
December 2019
Legend carry go
Seeing that boy bring held by his classmates while his teacher whipped him pained me!:(. Please tell me teachers don't still routinely brutalise kids like that in Nigeria!
well you are now welxom to the part of the world where anything goes and people still thing its proper. no one wants to stand up to it
God this man can sing. He is also a story teller. What's a good music without a good story?
Good music never gets old!!!
At all.
I'm igbo and I cant even sing the alphabet that fast. . . But this is so true learning English is good but dont let them take your language no wonder igbo is dying. Biko keep in touch with your culture that's all we got
