Macy has slept off and on all afternoon… she plays in the leaves, chews on sticks, eats, drinks her water…then sleeps so good
And she is already guarding… growls and barks at our big dogs when she is laying down. They were all shocked when she growled at each one. They back away and she lays back down to doze hahaha
When shes up and about she is cool with them! 💕💕💕

I was just about about to post this too! I know a lot of people don't want to be on camera but it would be wonderful to see the pups with their new families even if face is blurred out and maybe updates from their new homes in the future. We're all so invested in these pups, we would love to see them in their new forever homes.

A good breeder always has a hard time saying goodbye but our buyers always kept us up to date. A puppy miller who raises hundreds of puppies in terrible conditions has no feelings. Love your puppies.
The reputable breeders that I know say they will take them back if needed. A few want them back if the owner dies. A child or grandchild has to fill out an application and be approved to get the dog back from the breeder (not pay another purchase price, just making sure the dog is going to an appropriate home).
Dogs have been a major part of my life for 69 years. I never wanted to part with a single one, but that wasn't realistic. Just make the people promise to send you pics and updates a couple of times each year and it helps.❤❤❤
Catch up videos sure would be nice, too, if their new family like to take them.

I love the fact your puppies are socialized to the human family as well as the goats. I think especially if children around it is just safer for everyone. Sad to see the puppies leave also, but glad one is staying to train with Mojo, hopefully his calm demeanor with all the animals rubs off.
Mojo is the perfect mentor for the young apprentice. He will teach the youngin to love and protect all the babies on the farm. Plus, teach all about security. Eventually, we will see Mojo sitting on his shade spot with his mineral water spritzer and treats overlooking the farm .

I am going to be devastated if and when Mojo passes. What sweet puppies they are. Mojo is my favorite, but they are all special. The people who get them will be blessed.
It will be hard to say goodbye to those fur bundles. Kora has been such a wonderful Mama, and Papa Leeske watching over them when out and about. They sure got a blessing of a start in their life.

I hope that Cora transitions through this ok. I know that dogs aren't attached like humans but she is going to miss them. So glad you decided to keep one of her babies! Love how the family and you really care about your animals!

Love all your dogs, puppies, poultry & goats.I like how kind you are to your animals. I was raised on a ranch with cattle, horses, dogs, cats & chickens (sometimes sheep). Still am on that ranch in Oregon. My kids are 5th generation. I am a rescuer by nature & can't handle any of the slaughtering. I am a total animal lover. Growing up around them a person realizes that they all have feelings & fear for their safety. I do eat meat occasionally but prefer not to on a regular basis. I took an EMT class my senior year in high school & volunteered on the ambulance for 34 yrs. I gave up my license 2 yrs after losing my 16 yr old daughter. Still trying to recover from that. If one ranches or hunts I say please do so humanely. Dogs especially are so loving, devoted & loyal. My best to you all.

I hope the new owners realize what they are getting and that all the puppies are loved as much as their parents are by those owners.
You and Rachel have done an exceptional job helping Cora raise the pups.

I hand raised cockatiels and it was always hard to see them leave. To be with them and feeding them with syringes and growing them to happy youngsters, when you got up and said good morning, they’d all tweet back at the same time. They’d run across the room to climb up your leg (they were just growing feathers) and get in your lap to be fed and then would nap on your lap. Yup, I still miss them all but the memories of them always leaves me smiling. I loved them all. ❤❤

You did a great job raising the puppies. I tell my puppy buyers to send me pics and updates, I love when they check in. I do my best to find the best homes for my pups. I have legal contracts that go with each pup to ensure their wellbeing.
I really have only gotten attached to my Mama dog. I don’t have a problem letting go of the pups even though they’re fun to raise. They’re making someone happy! I had a golden doodle I raised as a puppy till he was a year old my health made it to where I couldn’t take care of him like I wanted to. The day he left I cried for over a week because he was my fur baby. I understand how you all are feeling. You and Rachel are awesome. Love watching your videos

It is so easy to love puppies. We all will miss them for several days. I know you are having a great family for each puppy. Anxious to see the one that will become a friend with Mojo. They can make so much noise, but it does grow on you.

Our beloved giant golden doodle died two years ago. I thought I was too old to handle another dog this late in my life. 100 or 110 pounds would be too much but I’m thinking of getting a border collie or Australian shepherd and give it another go. i’m thinking I can handle 50 or 60 pounds. I need and think it’s time for another doggy for me to fall in love with

Thank you for sharing Cora, Leeske and the puppies. That takes time on your and Rachel behalf to make these videos. It’s been wonderful seeing them grow and play. It’s human nature to get attached to our dogs and cats, they’re part of the family so it’s only natural to hear you say it’s bittersweet. Can understand why it’s hard. They grow on their family members. I’m going to miss getting my “puppy fix” but again thank you and to Rachel for sharing this happiness. My Mama German Shepard had 9 puppies her first time bread and did a fabulous job nursing an weening her puppies . It was hard taking deposits and even worse when the last one left . I waited 2 years before i bread her again and she had 8 in that litter . I kept two males and they both lived to 16 an 18 years old . It still chokes me up when i think about not keeping any from her first litter . DOGS ARE FAMILY !😉

Thank you Kevin and Rachael for letting us all enjoy the puppies it will be tough letting them go but it’s all part of the process of raising them ! Just like show animals my granddaughter raises show pigs and believe me it’s hard to let them go especially when you have bottle babies I fed 3 till they were old enough to not need a bottle and man when they were sold it was rough 😢 I hope the new owners keep you updated on how they are doing at the new farms ❤

Mojo has my heart! And I love the pups and parents. I could not imagine not having dogs in my life.. ever. A house is not a home without them.
And as for the heartbreak of letting babies go.. there’s no way around it that I’ve ever found. I’ve fostered kittens for a local cat rescue and it was very hard. I “foster failed” one. I’m petting her now, but I just had to remind myself that I was blessed enough to have a part in their story.
So happy but yet sad to hear the puppies will be going to a new home, but we know that you guy's as well as us all have gotten all so uses to them all, and love them dearly Cora and Whiskey have been such wonderful loving parents, and so happy to know Mogo is well enough to train another guard dog, Watch out for whoever that comes around Hubert Height Homestead!😊😊😊😊😊
All the puppies we raised over the years were dear to my heart, hard to let them go. But knowing my dogs were such good ones, I knew the new parents would be pleased. Many ppl kept us advised and several came back for another companion for the previous...twice they brought the pup they had gotten, the mothers knew their pup, the dad's kinda did. It was bittersweet.
We had theme names for each litter, many incorporated the name in registration.
We raised 12 and 14 inch beagles.
I always got that warm fuzzy feeling watching the puppies, we will miss them terribly also! They have really grown in our hearts!! This video made me so sad thinking we won’t see them together again. Cora was such an amazing mother and you guys did a fantastic job in raising them.
I have rescued stray and abandoned dogs for more than 15 years and also had pedegree cats. It´s hard to let them go, especially the once who had a bad start but survived. Allow yourself to be sad for one or two days. Ask the adopters to send you photo´s of the puppies. As soon as you see them happy you will not feel sad anymore!
They say dogs are loyal, but you will find out that in most cases we are more loyal to them than they are to us. 😉

Well I started watching your videos when the puppies were born I have enjoyed watching them grow I have watched a lot of your older videos I really enjoy watching your family through the years even without puppies I will continue to watch your videos when ever you post I miss seeing the kids but that is how kids are can't wait till your next adventure love you all and keep you in my prayers.
It has been a joy watching the puppies from before birth to now. Yes, it is bittersweet, but we know that you all have good instincts about their new owners and maybe they will send you videos as they grow.

Today would have been our pup's 13th birthday.... we lost him last April and my heart is still broken. Dogs become such a part of our life and it's so hard when they leave. But knowing that they are going to good loving homes makes it a little easier..... I wish them all long, healthy and happy lives.
I just hope they have wonderful homes and don’t get chained up or hit in their new homes.
We raised a couple of pigs. Their named were Pork and Beans. I almost kept Beans. But when we were kids, our parents raised our own meat. I did get a calf from auction once. Her name was Mini Moo. We kept her. My horse adopted her. She even nursed her.

As children we helped bottle raise orphan sheep and we cried when they left. As an adult we bred our golden and her puppies went all over the US; hard to let them go.

The puppies are so cute, getting rid of them is always the hardest part. Puppies just work there way into your heart. Mojo is going to train that puppy good.
We had a litter of puppies when our boys were little. Our middle son his when someone came and took the puppy he bonded with. Everytime we got close to finding him, he would move and hide. We looked for him for hours. He had a hard time. But we had 7 puppies and just couldn't take care of all of them. They all found homes.
I follow Cog Hill Farm UA-cam channel. They have a mail and female emu. The female has been laying an egg every three days. The female emu makes a thrumming sound before she lays an egg. She then goes to her nest and then lays the egg. She has in the past laid up to 16 eggs.
It will break my heart to see them go but I would love to see how they react to their new owners. I can’t wait to see who you keep and how Mojo reacts to the puppy. I don’t have a favorite. I love them all. Y’all did a great job with them. Love ❤️

It IS hard to give your pups to their new owners… you have raised them from birth, and love them! What you are feeling is very normal. Just remind yourselves of the wonderful job you did as puppy grandparents . You might want to take individual pictures of them before they leave……

When you came to feed him he would dance around. So I only fed him when my husband wasn’t home. Yes I am thankful. But darn it!!!
They are very vocal, which is a good thing. They are growing so fast. They do look ready for their next homes
Thank you for sharing with us! I could never have a dog or any other animal have babies, I couldn’t bear to part with them and would be a hoarder, probably. That being said my dogs and cats always get spayed and neutered because of that. I’ve always had dogs and cats and they truly are family and I can’t wait for the day I see them on the rainbow bridge.

I’ve had to have 3 dogs put down over our 50 year marriage and it broke my heart each time. We now have a 2 year old Bassett right now. We love our dogs!

I was a Siberian husky breeder for a lot of years. The absolute hardest part was them going to their new homes. We have puppies in 9 or 10 states. A few of the puppies are trained service dogs, 1 being for an Army veteran. A few dogs are working sled dogs. Most are just family pets. Spoiled family pets. I keep in touch with a lot of their owners. I'm glad you are keeping one of the puppies on your farm.
You folks are not losing the puppies, you are spreading the love of 8 puppies to others. I'm sure you will get pictures and updates on them from their new families. Thank you for sharing with us how to raise LGDs the correct way!
