To those from the USA/Canada/Europeans who picked Majar Kabsh (VIP), do not expect the Mina camp to look like this. Only the Saudi VIP camps offer actual beds, but the Western country VIP camps offer unfoldable separate sofa cushions, that can expand to a manual bed, on the carpet. Also the USA/Canada/Europeans camps do not have a food pantry like this. Just a fair warning to those from those nations. It is unfortunate that for similar prices, there are different treatments, and besides the Western countries, it's unfortunately worse for other Asian/Latin/African countries. I pray that one day all nations will have equal treatment in the VIP camps. And equal treatment in the Standard camps. Ameen

Ameen. I actually saw UK camp with similar beds and standard. But I agree they differ wildly unfortunately. I mean I did expect to sleep on the floor.

Many rituals in Islam is related to Rituals associated with Hinduism. For example, circumambulation is a common practice in both Hinduism and Islam. In Hinduism, it involves walking around a deity, murti (statue) or other sacred object clockwise, often 7 or 9 times. In Islam, circumambulation of the Kaaba is performed seven times, starting and ending at Hajar al-Aswad, the black stone embedded in the eastern corner of the Kaaba. Similarly, wearing the black hijab, a head covering similar to the Goonghat in Hinduism, has parallels in Islam. While veiling is a cultural practice in Hinduism, it has become a religious requirement in Islam. The concept of holy water, like zam zam in Islam, is similar to Hindu prasad, where prasad is distributed to devotees after puja. Both receive blessings and develop a sense of community. The act of facing the Kaaba during prayer in Islam is similar to idolatry in Hinduism. While God is believed to be omnipresent, focusing on the Kabbah during prayer reflects a form of idolatry. Circulating the Kaaba during the Hajj is a central ritual, similar to the role of idols in Hinduism. Although there are similarities between Islamic practices and Hinduism, it is important to respect and understand the nuances of each religion and culture. Respect and understanding of all religions and cultures is important to promote unity and peace.

As Salam Alaykum sister. Really nice video and website. For the sake of Allahﷻ I'd like to kindly correct you on a statement you made. Providing Islamic proofs as to why it is not proper advise (regarding wearing make-up or perfume.) .InshaAlah you don't take offense and will remove it.
    You wrote:
"Many women think that when you are in Makkah you are always in Ihram, this is not the case and after you finish your Umrah and cut a small piece of your hair you are out of Ihram. You can then wear perfume and your make-up if you want or your deodorant. You really don’t need to buy everything in fragrance-free options. "
    Islamic daleel/proofs/evidence:
Entering Ihram ( though are we on the status as the mother of beleivers and a wife to Nabi Mihammad saw. To be safe/humble.I would refrain from "perfume on forehead" : This is to be understood in the light of the conditions that were known in earlier times, when the caravan of women was separate from that of men, or the woman would be in her howdah and did not mix with men or pass by the places where they were.
‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: We used to go out with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to Makkah, and we would apply perfume to our foreheads when entering ihram, then if one of us sweated it would run down her face, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would see it but he would not rebuke her. (Narrated by Abu Dawud (1830) and classed as hasan by al-Nawawi in al-Majmu’ (7/219) and as sahih by al-Albani in Sahih Abi Dawud)
AFTER Ihram ot any other time if outside or passing men:
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Al Ash’ari (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Any woman who applies perfume and passes by people so that they may smell her fragrance is like an adulteress”.
(Sunan Nasa’i (Al Mujtaba) Hadith: 5126, Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2786, Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 4173, Sahih ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 4424 and Mustadrak Hakim vol. 2 pg. 396)
Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, headcover, apron), and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband’s fathers, or their sons, or their husband’s sons, or their brothers or their brother’s sons, or their sister’s sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islâm), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of feminine sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful” [Al-Nur 24:31]
So women are forbidden to show their adornments to non-mahram men, and make-up and perfume is undoubtedly one of the woman’s adornments, so it is included in this prohibition. and Allah knows best.
