Spot on! I could not be happier with the Serene combo from Stack Audio: the stabiliser and the mat which have upgraded my Rega P6 Ania MC to the next level. Fully agree with your findings as the key effect of the stabiliser is the lowest possible record floor noise level. Daniel from Poland
Thanks for doing this Paul. Brill. Totally supports my findings, (and a fellow audiophile's). The Serene is a VERY smooth performer, tames high frequency harshness really well and is highly revealing of layering detail. I too think it outperforms the Gravity One, but possibly to a further degree than your review details. There are too many occasions when I've felt that the Gravity One did very little and I've been straining to hear any difference with or without it. Not so with the Serene. The best I've used so far, and by a fair margin for me.
I am using the Serene Stabiliser and the Serene Mat combo, and I am pleased with the products so far. The mat is slightly thicker so I am not sure if I need a VTA adjustment or not so I may not be operating at full effectiveness! Cheers
A very well composed review. I have a Serene "puck" which works brilliantly just as your review states. The Serene mat I have read combined with Serene puck works even better, I use a modified such as DC not AC motor, Transcriptors built Hydraulic Reference turntable so I can't use the mat due to the 6 weights and 3 posts on the platter. I fitted Auva 100's to the Rupert stands under my OTA Quad 57's thanks to your review, thank you they are also brilliant as are the Auva EQ's I use.
Amazing Paul. It was a very good review. Looking at the price and the performance, it is a no-brainer in purchasing. It comes at a very good time, too. The new Rega Planer 3 RS Turntable with the much improved stiffer plinth, new ND5 Cartridge and Power Supply has been released recently. Slightly annoying as it is 12 month's after I purchased the Rega 3 50th Anniversary with the Power Supply. Reading various reviews, it is vastly superior. Unfortunately, HiFi products do not stand still and remain constant. I can purchase the ND5 Cartridge and this product and get closer to this new Turntable. Thanks Paul.
I've given up on FOMO, because as you state, "hifi products do not stand still" and there is always something better! I prefer to tweak what I have, and to me this is a tweak.

Just received mine and I love it. The Stack Audio crew is doing a great job.

£200 quid...I'd want to try it first for that price.
Rega say they do not recommend any pucks with their turntables.

Great Content. I'm using the Fluance high mass 760 grams record weight/stabilizer on my Technics SL1200GR. Seems to be doing it's job for $50 US.
Another very interesting post, thank you Paul.
