    Your video is very succinct, gave great information and a joy to watch. So so much better than 80% of the stuff out there. Keep it up! I too love a nicely scaped tank and also hope to breed shrimp, great to see that someone else feels the same way. It's only 1 week old high tech, 17 gallon and doing great!

    Nice video :) was just curious why you chose to use Seiryu for your aquascape with crystals? The white lines in that stone are made of calcium carbonate, so it will always be leeching hardness into the water and raising the pH. The life of your buffering substrate will be lessened do to the KH as well. I personally haven't tried using Seiryu in my shrimp tanks because of this. Was just wondering how yours have done since January.

      Thank you! I haven't had much issue there yet. The tank has been thriving with about 20 shrimplets now. Been fun to watch!

      @@CichlidBros oh cool :) how often are you doing water changes? My TDS rises by about 50 per week. So I definitely can never delay that tank

    Question at 2:32 you Say to add a product like salty shrimp GH/KH+ but the bottle you show so is just GH+. Why?

    • @captaincrunch7948
      @captaincrunch7948 2 роки тому +1

      way late but neocardina and cardina shrimp have different water parameter requirements. cardina shrimp preder water with 0-1kh while neo caradinas are better in slightly higher gh water! he has bees which are cardinas so he needs only higher gh not kh!

      Aren't they a product of human selective breeding? They'll eat anything smaller than them, have trouble feeding bc of their mouthes (like selective bred dogs, like the pug, that was bred more for looks than function), i suggest not to buy or keep thing, supporting their creation.
