i really appreciate this video as an overview. would you consider making a video with more details on how and when to use some of those great features ie auto tie-off, needle down/up, keeping fabric from shifting when piecing. i'm a new quilter in texas and in search of more in depth videos on the use of this new 570qe machine. thanks!
I agree, I purchased this machine and want to set up my auto features and would like a few customized library settings. One for piecing and the other for free motion quilting etc. Great tutorial!
I am with you. I don't know what to do to tie off, and needle up/down like my 153 Bernina. Slower talking and pushing buttons is needed. I just plugged my new 570QE in yesterday and am lost. Cant take class till Covid is over .

LOVE your hair, the cut n color are great. And LOVE your Bernina, I plan to trade up to this model very soon as my B570 was made in 2013 or 14! Can't wait for the new big bobbin and the auto foot lifter. Thank you!

I agree with Gail. I just bought my very first Bernina machine yesterday, the 570 QE. The only thing I am having trouble with is getting the thing that holds the bobbin in the machine back into the machine. Very hard to get it to set on the magnet. Can you advise. Thank you
It takes a bit of finesse, you have to affix the bobbin holder so that the white dot aligns with the white dot in the carriage, so both are dead center at the bottom. You have to rotate the wheel on the back of the machine to get the proper orientation. Then, set the bobbin holder so that the two align, then use your thumbs to push it all back into place. Practice makes perfect!
I am enjoying these videos.... I just have to say that when my machine sounds like yours does, I think it is time to clean it. I realize the acoustics in the room or placement of the mic, might contribute to the way the machine sounds.
please enlighten me, I have the old 570 with 5mm feet and no thread cutter. But is also called 570QE . How are they differentiated if I need help or tutorials on my model please ?
I purchased the 570QE to piece quilts. And of course quilt the tops, later.My immediate needs however are to discover what goes with what! And how to use this marvel.I have a three-sole walking foot #50 with seam guide, a stitch plate CutWork/ straight = orange feet, a #97D foot as well as the feet that came with my machine. Help!

I'd also like a closer look at alphabets - how to move step by step from screen to screen and how to revert to usual settings.

What is the circumference of the long arm ? Can it take thicker thread like upholstery or even a fine wool? .

I have the 570QE and I also have the BSR.....do I need to purchase the 72 presser foot if I want to do free motion seeing using a template?
