Nice video. I like the cardassians too, perhaps because they are a little bit like germans. OK, that sounded really creepy. 🙈😂 Thanks for the tactical tips and greetings from Germany.
Dennis Suijkerbuijk which is why they are stupidly overpriced. If they just made them like the other missions our portioned them, they could sell them for way less and so make a profit. I 3d printed my own set of them, and while they might not be as detailed as the real ones, they look just as good on the table and cost me less than $3 for the full set of 15, instead of the $50 they want.
I went to the store and couldn't believe the price over a hundred bucks for the board game that only has feds , Klingons and Romulans. Expansion factions are around 40 bucks each. I'm sorry but that game must have been invented by Ferengis.
Pretty standard for games these days. This one has a large number of components and miniatures as well. That said, you can often find the base game for around $80 which is a steal for what you get. As for the extra factions, you can often find them for well below MSRP as well. I don't think I paid more than $20-25 for any of the add on factions other than the Dominion, but that one came with a full expansion to the game with new play modes and other bits.
I think they were originally intended as Con exclusives, but the way that they had them packaged at GenCon this year makes it look like they might hit retail at some point. In the very least, you can pick them up from Gale Froce 9's booths at any of the big conventions for $10 per faction pack of 3 stations. Cool looking, but a bit pricey for $1's worth of plastic if you ask me. I'll wait for either the prices to come down or someone to put up files so I can 3d print my own.
For the record, the stations have since been made available at retail stores, though the quality of them is questionable at best. I did videos on each of them if you're still interested.
About time these got out. Hopefully their additions, and higher player count, will make this game more playable for me.

They DO quite enjoy taking over neighbouring countries, but the game doesn’t model genocide.
those 3d space stations are not printed but cast. the models are made of resin.

Where can one find those space station miniatures? I can't seem to find any information on them.

Right on. Thanks!
