- It's almost 2 years since I uploaded some scenes from the movie 'Underground' so I thought it was way overdue for me to finish off the best of it. It's a very rare movie, made in 1970, and though set in France it was actually filmed in Ireland.

I haven't seen this movie for 3 years! I remember vaguely. It has good combat scenes:)
Yes, it's not bad!
Kinda poorly lit in spots, but the body count is impressive. In other words, the bullets she'd light on the manly art of dying in combat.
@@thesixshooter6506 Have you seen any of the IFC Midnight productions like Holler,The Hatching or John In The Hole? they have no real heroes or villains just people simply making the wrong choices!

too funny the show the guys on the motorcycles have SS ruins on the collar tab and the eagle about the breast pocket.. the SS wore the eagle on the left arm
Lucky for us, bullets don't give a damn how a man is dressed. The decorations on their uniforms are replaced by the only ones soldiers take pride in wearing... lead badges of honor they can take to their graves.
Come and see the delightful sights of rural France as a Heer motorcycle dispatch driver. Dodge those pesky resistance Maquis types and their bullets, and don't forget to fill in those insurance forms, you'll need them.

The first kill at 0:17... a single slug from close range to the victim's gut... was cool. Most of the other scenes were poorly lit and to dark to get the full effect. Still, the pairing of machine guns and men eager to belly-up to a bullet buffet makes it worth the watch. Some good after-kill poses too... spread-eagled studs nicely displaying their manly deaths.
Yes, it's very dark but makes up for it in other respects lol.
@@foreverblueclassics Yes. Men catching bullets has a way of shedding light on a scene. And it makes the audio... grunts and moans... more effective. All that said, I'd still prefer a nice, well-lit, slo-mo view of a handsome soldier at the moment bullet meets belly.

Guys, guns, and guts. Three ingredients that GUARANTEE a watchable film. You would need to eliminate at least two of them to put it in the running for worst movie ever.
