Why reduce the payouts for Li, on exploration? Should be more there are people that don't want to get the high payouts for fighting Thargoids. Exobio is all some like to do and they struggle (long time friends), I myself find I like a mix of both. On the other hand they (fdev), see all the stats of what ppl are doing, they know the beef.
Hope they don't nerf pp too much. It would be good if they showed the risk level of going to each system with the risk increasing the more strongly aligned the system is to the opposing power. I hope as well that the powers risk is also based on the friendliness of the powers. As an imperial, it should be less risk going to another imperial powers system and more risk going to a federation powers system. And those relationships could change over time to make things interesting.
Doubt it. They only seem to make paid DLCs when they introduce major gameplay *additions*. Odyssey basically bolted an entire FPS game onto the base game.... This will be more like a major narrative update, like the start of the Thargoid titans. Will probably involve a rather large client update, but I'd expect it to be free....
@RicardosGaming Well, I have 1200 hours, and counting in Elite and never felt like I was missing anything. Also, I play exclusively in Solo, so if i knowingly participated in Powerplay, I'd feel like I was cheating those in Open.

i was hoping they made it dangerous, if they turned all these settings down, have they made it elite safe again. we need beef when you aligned with a different power the one controlled by a system, currently, you enter a system controlled by another power and you get no beef at all... its just wrong
Not really interested in power play except for the Mods. But I have the ones I want already. What I don't like is the changing of things before other players even get to try. But my Bigest Beef is the Balance between the Builds of Thargoid Builds and those of the Gankers in open. Why can't Goid Frag cannons kill a Ganker? They Kill us without shields. Used to be a great game with hundreds of players in an instance. Beef over mate. enjoy your day. PS The Glaive thing is or was stupid, Pump Hundreds of shots into them and no Damage happens. Playing other games now
Raised it's prices.... during the most extreme period of inflation most people can remember in recent history. With a currency they give you for free just by playing the game.... I think you can stop clutching your pearls....

Massive updates to the game have been free, with the only paid DLCs being basically brand new games bolted to the old one. Now after a decade, in a time with game studios closing left and right, they've added shortcut packs that come nowhere near any established meta. And for ridiculously cheap compared to other shops (looking at you Scopely). It's almost like the monetization is specifically designed to NOT be pay-to-win.... Look, I would be last to say that FDev has been perfectly competent this entire time. Rest assured, I have my own personal laundry list of complaints. But seeing as they've continued to put work into a game that could have been called "finished" years ago, and actually make reasonable adjustments based on the community... that buys them some good will from me. And since nothing they're doing *actually* points to a P2W shift.... I'm gonna need something juicier to worry about than some lame pre-built ships you have to rebuild to be useful anyway.... Of course, one wouldn't need to be a shill to realize you're just playing chicken little spouting hyperbole.... which is weird for someone who supposedly doesn't give a rat's ass. Maybe if you try harder, it will distract from the echoing void that was your failed point.

Until pretty recently, the only thing they'd sell besides the game is cosmetics.
