I really don't run into many people like this during my streams, but it's definitely annoying for this to be possible. Regardless, it's always best to either move on or have some fun with these situations. Hope you enjoy! Socials all linked in the description. And PLEASE don't give me your opinions on the Objector; it's not going to be changed and there's apparently even a plugin that removes the decals in Casual servers!
Spikey mickey made a video about removing the image which i suggest you use as it’s super easy to get to work 😊

@@percher4824yes. It's easy putting it in the custom folder. It erases the image and make it a checkerboard texture. The one I use is from gamebanana
@@percher4824There's a mod that removes objector/pride/flair decals on Casual.
First sprays now we want to remove decals because of them. Goddamnit i remembered that moment where sprays are used to be store in our pcs and found something else really, really bad.
@@percher4824 The "Censored Custom Decals (sv_pure compatible)" does work in standard Valve casual. It's only downside is that you require an objector to first do it, and it extends the loading time by about 20 seconds, as the game has to load you into an offline game first to break the texture.
3 things to do before streaming tf2:
1) mute everyone in game
2) remove decals (mods)
3) remove chat box
4)disable sprays
5) Enable Streamer mode and queue casual without showing your map rotation.
6) Praying for the best
7 teleport bread and feed the bread

Us avoiding to see or hear bad things when streaming TF2 is like a minigame of dodging “bullets” as much as possible with our own strats of still having fun…

you should make another stream but with the decal tool remover mod just for see the stupid attempts while they just show a default decal tool
TF2 players: want the game to stay alive and flourish for years to come
Also TF2 players: actively sabotaging people who make content for the game to keep its name out there
I honestly don’t get it. And don’t feel bad J, it’s happened to me before too. I need to find that plug-in to make the decals go away.
sanitizing and removing everything it makes the game unique is not an option and definitely wont make it "stay alive and flourish for years to come"

Decals are the devil incarnate... I've seen some disgusting and horrible things in casual before valve had to step in and disable them in offical mm

It's really dumb that streamers could potentially get banned due to the actions of other people, streamers shouldn't be forced to deal with obnoxious degenerates like that and get in trouble because of them
uh, no. tf2 is completely unmoderated, which is a good thing - it means you don't have to worry about getting banned because you said the f-word in front of little timmy. If you want a safe experience streaming tf2, turn off chat, voice chat and decals.
The worst I ever saw was the meatspin, many many years ago.
Ever since I came back a couple months ago, I only ever saw fairly tame things. The worst since then might have been someone using both Flair! and conscientious objector covered in swatsiskas. Edgy stuff like that you can easily ignore.
THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! I had the exact same people do that on two of my streams. They followed me into different games and called me slurs. I had to unlist the vods sadly. I recommend you cull your friends list. :3

Just delete the conscientious objector files from your files, it will not display the model but neither the decal.

Yeah, there is a reason I always pay very close attention to community servers and what people do to them. Let's say I were to go back to streaming TF2 today; this video alone tells me the community server you are on (if it is one) is one I would either avoid or have sprays and decals off, and you will never get me to turn them back on if playing on that server. I usually don't like turning off sprays, chat, or decals as they make TF2 well TF2 (Lul). Still, I also fully know how finicky UA-cam and Twitch are with their rules nowadays and that people can and will add porn or “TOS scaring” sprays or decals and follow streamers around to get them in trouble. It is an annoying thing, but fortunately, there are many ways to prepare and avoid stuff like this. :)

I've got a group I play with... we all got degenerate signs but as soon as we see ttv or YT in someones name we switch off signs to look for newer games. We respect people but will run around with degenerate signs to either annoy people or find out what they're into
